There is no greater pleasure than switching day and night on Krk. They say that the morning is unusually lovely on Krk?! I wouldn't know, I myself have never seen one (ha ha ha), except for the very beginnings of the morning on returning from the night life…    Jolien van Dijk, The Netherlands

Local festivities, jazz festival and performances by folklore groups and klape (traditional acapello groups) reawaken the spirit of the old town. This year the jubilee, 50th consecutive, Krk Summer Festival will also be held.
