    The Gold medal (Thomson Gold Awards), a prestigious British Thomson tour operator award, was awarded to the Valamar Diamant Hotel in the category of "Best 4* summer accommodation in Croatia". This award represents outstanding achievement due to the high level of criteria that must be met. Namely, aside from the quality of the accommodation itself and the food, questionnaires also graded the level of satisfaction of the guests as the key factor in the selection of a particular place to take a vacation in the sense of grading the vacation itself and the destination in general as well as the activities offered, the cleanliness of the accommodation quarters, staff hospitality etc.

With bike rentals, organised tours and plentiful cycling paths, the whole family can enjoy the freedom of two-wheeled exploration. Try the Saint Mauro trail from beautiful Poreč to the observatory at Višnjan, or be enchanted by the fairytale landscape along the Euphrasiana trail.

Cycling tour: Baredine

  • Explore the Baredine cave, a mysterious
    game of nature, which has come into being
    over thousands of years, far from the light
    of day and the human gaze. This cave is a treasure trove of stalagmites and stalactites, subterraneous sculptures made by the
    patient and persistent activity of water.

  • Satisfy your craving for exercise with an easy cycling tour, connecting the coast and the beautiful Istrian landscape, and enjoying a recreational ride to Višnjan.

2. Cycling tour: Tar - Kaštelir

3. Cycling tour: Poreč - Novigrad - Turini
  • Satisfy your need for adventure with a remarkable experience and on an easy bicycle ride passing between the sea and rivers, across a beautiful landscape  to the unforgettable Mramornica Cave, and yield to the gastronomic delights of real Istrian specialties.

4. Cycling tour: St. Ana boat and a cycling tour
  • Combine an attractive boat trip with a sightseeing tour of the Istrian region by bike for double the pleasure.
  • Depart at 9:30 by boat from Vrsar, arrive at Lanterna Peninsula around 11:10 and continue with your chosen cycling tour (tour 2 or 3). After returning to Lanterna, board St. Ana boat which will take you back to Vrsar.
