DIVING LOCATIONS

POREČ
  1. "ROMAN VIVARIJUM" - A dive in an archaeological site near the village of Červar. It is interesting because there is the edge of a large pool in which the Romans bred fish for their Emperors. It is the second largest in the Mediterranean, and is at depths between 2 - 13 m
  2. "PAL PICAL" - Near the village of Borik. At depths between 3 to 18 m in a circular shallow that ascends in a step like fashion
  3. "STONE GARDEN" - At depths between 8 to 14 m. These stony shallows are an appealing habitat for a variety of fish and crabs
  4. "LABYRINTH" - At depths between 6 to 9 m. This is a large rock that rises up from the sea bed to depths of between 2 - 3 m. It is interesting because you feel as though you are diving through a labyrinth, which is formed by a channel between the rocks.
  5. “KARBULA” - A circular dive around the small island of “Karbula”, at depths between 2 - 13 m.
  6. "SPLENDID" - Near the island of Sv. Nikola, at depths between 4 - 12 m.
  7.  "PAL SV. NIKOLA" - Near the tourist destination of Brulo,  at depths between 3 to 13 m.
  8. "REGATTA" - A circular shallow in front of the small island of “Regata”. It is in open waters and formed from large underwater rock, which is an ideal hiding place for lobsters and eels. It is at depths between 16 to 24 m.
  9. "ŽONTULO" - At depths between 13 - 23 m in front of the small reef of “Žontula”.
  10. "DIJAVOLO" - This dive is located south west of the island “Altež” at depths between 13 - 28 m.
  11. "KAMPANIL LITTLE" - A bell shaped shallow at depths between 16 to 26 metres that takes a circular form. There is a nice wall on the west side which starts at 18 m and goes down to 26 m.
  12. "KAMPANIL BIG" - This dive takes a similar shape as “kampanil mali”, but with one deeper northern side. It reaches a depth of 40 m where there is a small cave.
  13. "FRIŽITAL" - This is a dive beside a small island that has the same name, and is at depths between 5 to 18 m. In the middle of the dive, there is a channel that leads from the island to a depth of 16 m.
  14.  "MUSHROOM FUNTANA" - A dive between 18 to 30 m with an interesting rock that rises from the depths in the form of one large mushroom.

OPEN SEA AT NOVIGRAD

  1. "SHIPWRECK CORIOLANUS" - This is a dive to a submerged minesweeper that sunk at the end of the Second World War, at depths between 18 - 28 m. The boat was a part of the British navy and served as a minesweeper. It is also connected to the secret story that in its final mission it was a spy boat that spied on the partisans in Istria and ran across its own mine. The boat sits in the position it sank in and is one of the most beautiful wrecks on the Istrian coast. In addition, this dive is in an area protected by the Ministry of Culture.
LIMCHANNEL

  1. "WALL SALINE": A wall that drops directly from the coast to depths of 13 m and later in steps to 26 m
  2. "SMALL SALINE WRECK": At depths between 16 to 26 meters on which there is a small wooden sunken boat.
  3. "KOVERSADA":  At depths between 4 - 30 m. This is a dive on a wall, which at 24 m has a small sunken yacht.

ROVINJ

  1. "BANJOL CAVE" - A set of three caves. One is divided up into three parts at a depth of 13 m with vertical exits towards the top, another is a large half circular dark cave without a vertical exit at a depth of 12 m, and then there is a third larger cave with an entrance at a depth of 5 m that horizontally enters a little island with the same name. At the end of a corridor, after about 30 m, you can swim into a small lake in the centre of the island.
