  Trip Advisor Certificate 2010, 2011

  TripAdvisor website awarded the hotel with Certificate of Excellence for achieving a TripAdvisor rating of 4,5 by its guests. The Certificate of Excellence is awarded to qualifying accommodations, attractions and restaurants listed on TripAdvisor that maintain a high overall user rating and a high volume of recent and quality reviews.

  Zoover Recommended 2010, 2011

  For the third time in a row Zoover reward accommodations in Europe with this reccomendation. The jury of the Zoover awards consists of their own guests that have left a review on Zoover. Over the past year consumers appreciate the accommodations with a good guest appreciation. For that reason Zoover reward the accommodations with the status “Zoover recommended”. International visitors from Zoover have selected Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel as one of the winners of a Zoover Recommended certificate 2011. Only accommodations with high scores within Europe receive this distinction.

  Man - the key to success in tourism 2010

  “Man – the key to success in tourism” is a national program aimed at raising the quality level of hospitality and creating a welcoming environment at a particular destination. John Daničić, Head of Reception, was named best reception employee in his category and some of the criteria for winning this prestigious award include maintaining a level of professionalism whilst on duty (expertise, initiative, innovativeness), the relationship established with tourists and guests (kindness, neatness, communicativeness, competence), the results achieved on the job and overall acceptance in the workplace.

  Best Rate Competitiveness Award, which is awarded by one of the world's largest travel agencies - Expedia, for the best price-quality ratio.

  Tourism flower - the best hotel breakfast in Croatia 2007, 2009

  Special recognition in the event known as the "Tourism flower - quality for Croatia" which is traditionally carried out by Croatian Radio and Television and the Croatian Chamber of Economy for the quality and assortment offered in a hotel breakfast. According to the results of guest questionnaires, the hotel breakfast offered during show cooking at the Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel received the highest marks while the level of quality is also confirmed by these two special awards of recognition.

  Valamar’s annual awards for excellence 2007

  Every year, the Valamar Hospitality Group hands out awards of recognition for excellence to the best employees and teams of employees whose results have made a significant contribution to the overall results achieved during a given season. The Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel was recognized for achieving the best results in 2007 in the category of hotels and apartments. This title was earned by the hotel’s excellent financial performance and for achieving an 11 % increase in the annual gross operating profit compared to the previous year. According to guest questionnaires the hotel achieved the highest results in the category of service quality within the Valamar Group – an extremely high 89.25 %. The hotel's application of standard operating procedures was 95.2 %, which was 2 % higher than in 2006. That same year Mr. Ivan Sabljić, the General Manager of the hotel, was named best general manager of the Valamar Group.

  Tourism flower - “Best 4* hotel on the Adriatic coast” 2006 - 2008

  In the event known as the "Tourism flower - quality for Croatia", which is traditionally carried out by Croatian Radio and Television and the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel was recognised as “the second best 4* hotel on the Adriatic” in both 2007 and 2008 while placing third in 2006 in the same category.
