Euterpe steam ship

The Euterpe steamship was owned by the Austro-Hungarian Lloyd and was built in 1907. Before the First World War the Euterpe was a large passenger ship and sailed a number of express routes to the Near East and Mediterranean. On the night of July 11th, 1918, the ship was transporting military equipment when it was sunk by two torpedoes from an Italian F-16 submarine. Today the top of the mast is located at a depth of 69 metres, the hull at 85 metres. Due to its depth, this dive site is only suitable for advanced divers using mixed gases.

Torpedo boat TA-20 (ex Audace)

This torpedo boat was built in 1914 and sunk during the night of November 1st, 1944. Today the wreck of the TA-20 can be found at a depth of 80 metres and attracts many advanced divers.

HMS Aldenham

The torpedo boat HMS Aldenham, built in 1942, hit a mine and sank on December 12th, 1944. Its wreck lies at a depth of 85 metres and is a popular dive site for advanced divers.

Albania

The Albania was built in 1910 in Trieste and sank on June 4th, 1916. The wreck is located at a depth of 72 metres near to the town of Novalja.

Corvette UJ 202 and UJ 208

The UJ 202 and UJ 208 were types of corvette produced in 1944 and were sunk on the September 9th and 11th, 1943. Their wrecks are located at a depth of 8.7 metres and are accessible to both advanced and less-experienced divers.

Bela Punta Wall

The Bela Punta wall can be found at a depth of 10 metres where a flat plateau covers a surface area of around 200m2. On the northern side there is a wall which drops vertically to a depth of about 45m.

Figurica Wall

Divers can explore this underwater wall that starts at a depth of 5 metres, reaches a depth of 55 metres and stretches for several hundred metres.

Golubera Cave

The entrance to the Golubera Cave is located at a depth of 5 metres, and entered through a 15-metre-long corridor. The cave is illuminated by daylight and there are areas where you can get out onto the rocks or small beaches.

Lisičja jama - cave (Fox den)

The entrance to Lisičja jama cave is located at a depth of 10 metres and can be entered through a horizontal corridor. In one part of the cave divers can surface out of the water, while in another part a source of fresh water can be seen.

Maškalić - rock

On the north eastern side of the island of Maskalić there is a vertical wall that reaches a depth of 45 metres. Here, divers can enjoy the charms of an underwater world rich in a wide variety of flora and fauna. Red gorgonian can often be seen here, as well as lobsters, grouper and deep sea urchins.

Island of Maun

Divers can explore the waters all around the 9 kilometre-long coastline of Maun Island. At the beginning of a 40 metre-deep wall there is a plateau populated with small fish, after which the wall descends towards the depths in steps. The length of the wall is covered by hollows, cracks and small caves where yellow coral, red gorgonian, grey blue sponges, groupers, frogfish and lobsters hide. The depth of this site ranges from between 3 to 40 metres so it is suitable for advanced and beginner divers.

The Sestakovci group of islets is made up of a series of fascinating underwater walls whose north eastern side reaches depths of 50 metres.

Sv.Kristofor- rock

This cone shaped rock rises from a depth of 60 metres up to a depth of 6 metres. On one side of the rock advanced divers can explore a deep underwater cave.

Šimuni campsite

The diving site at the Šimuni campsite is an ideal place for beginners and PADI course students. The individual underwater rocks are particularly interesting, under which hide octopi, and the sea horse is a regular inhabitant of this area.

Western rock - Šimuni

The western rock at Šimuni is surrounded by shoals of small fish, octopi and eels and makes an interesting site for divers of all levels.

Pohlib

In front of the largest of four caves at this dive site there's a canyon featuring excellent visibility and a wide variety of sea life. The Pohlib dive site is an excellent choice for sports divers, especially for Nitrox diving.

Planičić (Plavnik Mali)

This fascinating underwater wall features red and yellow gorgonian, shoals of fish as several crevices hiding a number of interesting marine inhabitants. This location is ideal for diving beginners as well as advanced divers.

The Virski Braci are two reefs about 4 nautical miles from land and offer the best dive site near the island of Pag for divers to view larger fish.

Due to its gentle incline, the Veli Brušnjak dive site is ideal for diving beginners. At a depth of 16 metres there is an underwater cliff where divers can discover numerous fish, eels and other inhabitants of this location.
