Pursuant to Article 69 of the Games of Chance Act (Official Gazette 87/09,35/13,158/13,411/14, 143/14), and the approval of the Ministry of Finance (Class: UP/I-460-02/17-01/47, Reg. No: 513-07-21-01/17-3) issued in Zagreb on 6 February 2017, VALAMAR RIVIERA, a joint-stock company, based in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, PIN: 36201212847, and PUNTIŽELA d. o. o. for hospitality and tourism, based in Pula, Puntižela 155, PIN: 93264433919, jointly represented by VALAMAR RIVIERA, a joint-stock company, based in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, PIN: 36201212847, set forth the following:
RULES FOR THE PRIZE GIVEAWAY
"Win a 7-day Stay"
The Organizers of the ‘Win a 7-day Stay’ prize giveaway are VALAMAR RIVIERA, a joint-stock company, based in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, PIN: 36201212847, and PUNTIŽELA d. o. o. for hospitality and tourism, based in Pula, Puntižela 155, PIN: 93264433919 (hereinafter: 'The Organizers' or 'The Organizer'), which are on the basis of power of attorney represented by VALAMAR RIVIERA, a joint-stock company, based in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1.
The prize giveaway is organized to encourage guests of the business establishments of the Organizers (guests at the hotels, apartments, and campsites) to fill out a service satisfaction survey, with the aim of improving services.
The prize giveaway takes place in all business establishments of the Organizers (hotels, apartments, campsites) in the period from 15 February 2017 to 31 December 2017, and has only one round.
The prize giveaway rules stating the class, registration number, and date of approval of the Ministry of Finance will be published on the Valamar website: www.valamar.com
All guests of the business establishments of the Organizers (hotels, apartments, campsites) older than 18 years of age can take part, regardless of the rates or length of stay. In the period from 15 February to 31 December 2017 they have to fill out a survey and place it in the clearly marked box next to the front desk of the business establishment where they are staying. To take part in the prize giveaway the participants have to fill out their information (full name, address and e-mail) in the appropriate field on the survey form.
The guests of the business establishments of the Organizers (hotels, apartments, campsites) can fill out one survey for one stay. In the event that the persons are staying in the same or different business establishments during different time periods, they can fill out one survey for each uninterrupted stay.
The Organizers’ staff and their immediate families cannot take part in the prize giveaway.
The prize pool consists of:
The prizes for all hotel, apartment, and campsite guests:
5 x 7-day stay in one of the establishments (hotels, apartments, campsites) of the Organizers during the 2017 season, when the winner wishes to stay, subject to the Organizers’ current availability*
The value of the prize is HRK 13,500.00 and the value of 5 x the prize is HRK 67,500.00
The total value of the prize pool is HRK 67,500.00
* 7-night stay in one of the hotels of the Organizers is valid for two persons and includes half board.
** 7-night stay in one of the apartments of the Organizers is valid for two persons.
*** 7-night stay in one of the campsites of the Organizers is valid for the winner and up to 6 persons who are staying with the winner, and for one vehicle (1 car and 1 RV or tent, or 1 trailer).
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
All submitted surveys which are filled out clearly will be scanned and stored in a computer database.
In accordance with the computer program where the survey forms are stored, each survey form will get its number, and by pressing a key on the computer at a time when the serial numbers of the forms alternate at a high speed the President of the Commission will stop the alternation at one number.
The winning survey form will be determined in the aforementioned way of obtaining the prize number.
The public drawing of winners will take place at Valamar Riviera d.d., Stancija Kaligari 1, 52440 Poreč, on 22 January 2018, starting at 2 pm.
In the event that the selected survey does not contain all information about the participant (name, address and e-mail address) specified in the space provided on the survey form, another winner will be drawn.
The draw will be overseen by a three-member commission appointed by the Organizer.
Minutes will be kept on the draw.
All interested participants can attend the public draw.
The results will be published within 8 days from the day of the draw on the Valamar page www.valamar.com and blog.valamar.com.
All prize winners will be notified of their prize in writing (by mail or e-mail) within 8 days of the day of the prize drawing.
The winners should set up the time to claim their prize by contacting the Valamar booking centre using the following contact details within 30 days of receipt of written notification of their prize:

If the prize winners do not agree on the time to claim their prizes in the period set out in this Article, the Organizers are obliged to notify them of the win again within 8 days of the expiry of the above deadlines, and determine a new deadline to claim the prize, which may not be less than 8 or more than 15 days after the receipt of the notice.
If the winner does not claim his/her prize during the additional period, he/she forfeits the right to the prize.
Claiming the prize stops all further obligations of the prize giveaway Organizer to the winner.
In the event that fewer participants take part in the prize giveaway than there are prizes set forth in the prize pool, there will be as many prizes given out as there are participants in the giveaway.
The Organizer is obligated to sell the prize pool worth more than HRK 5,000.00, which after the end of the prize giveaway (after the deadline for claiming prizes, giveaway interruption, cancellation or suspension) is not given out, using a public tender, and deposit the proceeds into the state budget within 90 days from the deadline for claiming the prizes.
The prize giveaway may be cancelled, interrupted, or suspended only in the event of circumstances for which the Organizer is not responsible, or which he could not have prevented, eliminated, or avoided. The participants will be notified of the cancellation, termination, or suspension of the giveaway using the Valamar website www.valamar.com and blog.valamar.com.
A participant who takes part in the prize giveaway accepts the rights and obligations under these Rules.
The Rules take effect after the Ministry of Finance’s approval and publication thereof.
The Organizer undertakes to pay 5% of the established value of the prize pool to the Croatian Red Cross.
In the event of a dispute between the Organizer and a participant of this prize giveaway the competent court of the seat of the Organizer has jurisdiction.
