SUPer weekend in Poreč and Lanterna with SUPer fun

The Lanterna peninsula in Tar plays host to the seventh edition of the Croatian SUP Elite race. The SUPer Surfers Challenge Poreč – Lanterna SUP Downwind Race is a unique competition in this area – the international Stand Up Paddle race in the Elite class and a race in the CRO SUP Tour calendar.

In recent years, some of the most prominent European and international SUP athletes have taken part in this race, which – together with the great prize money – indicates the quality of the event. This year, the organisers are expecting numerous competitors from several European countries, and the points in the Elite race will count toward the CRO SUP Tour.

The most experienced stand up paddlers will participate in an 18-km-long regatta from the Istra Premium Camping Resort in Funtana to the Valamar Tamaris Resort in Lanterna. Recreational athletes and enthusiasts, as in previous years, will have the opportunity to participate in the 5-km-long Fun SUP regatta and at SUP like Pro - SUPer workshops.

The SUPer Surfers Challenge Poreč - Lanterna is much more than just a race for professionals. The event is open to anyone who wants to try the fastest growing and probably most fun water sport in the world.
