The white walls of the Lanterna Apartments in Rabac rise above the pine forest canopy just steps away from a string of immaculate Blue Flag beaches. Ideal for families and those seeking an active vacation, not only is there a choice of beaches but also a huge range of activities and fun for all ages. Make yourself at home in one of the family-sized apartments with sea or parkland views, then head out into the sun to explore the unspoilt surroundings. Start the day with a magnificent buffet breakfast at the nearby Girandella restaurant before basking on smooth white pebble beaches beside the crystal clear waters. If you’re in the mood for some action, limber up with some lively aerobics or net some points in a beach volleyball game while the children enjoy their own busy schedule of organised activities at the children’s centre and playground. Fill endless summer days exploring forest trails on family cycling tours, ambling the long coastal promenade and taking to the waves in a pedalo or banana boat. Not far from the Lanterna Apartments lies the centre of Rabac, a former fishing village and undoubtedly the jewel of this coastline. As the sun sets, join evening strollers in the romantic harbour, or head uphill along the forest trail to the cobbled streets and pastel-shades of medieval Labin.
