Sabatina is the oldest winegrowing and winemaking economic meeting in the Republic of Croatia, with a 33-year tradition. First organized in 1991 in Čara on the island of Korčula and since then continuously held every year in a different city. You could say it reaches out to winegrowers and winemakers. Every year wine and spirits are evaluated by experts, professional and practical trainings are held for producers who become familiar with achievements in science, innovations, improvements and technical improvement in this branch, which affects the quality improvement of the final products. In addition to producers, consumers are also educated through various workshops, and Croatian wines and other original Croatian products are promoted.
The event program is a result of many years of work, experience and cooperation with scientific and research institutions on one hand, and winegrowers and winemakers on the other hand, and consists of various activities such as the Winegrowing and Winemaking Fair, exhibition and exchange of wine and grape and wine products, scientific and professional gatherings, numerous workshops with guided wine tastings, a round table on cooperatives, a study tour with practical winegrowing in the vineyard, etc.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in cooperation with the Government of Croatia (Ref. No.: TN-RER9160-2301457) through the Croatian Nuclear Society (HND) is organizing the IAEA Regional Training Course on Modelling Severe Accidents in Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) (hereinafter referred to as "event") that will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia from 23rd October to 27th October 2023 within the framework of the IAEA technical cooperation project RER9160, "Strengthening Capabilities on Safety Assessment and Risk Informed Decision Making for Severe Accidents and Off Site Consequences”.
The purpose of the event is to train the participants on approaches to the modelling of severe accidents for safety analyses purposes, with specific focus on Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA).
