This summer, Pula will host some of the world’s best house and techno DJs, who will perform at the ‘Secret Project presents Pula Music Week’ electronic music festival organised by promoters ALDA and Insomniac.
The festival will take place in the attractive ambience of the Pula Arena and is expected to draw over 100,000 visitors from around the world.
Opening on Thursday with an audio-visual spectacle and a performance by the South Korean techno attraction Peggy Gou, the festival will continue on Friday with Solomun, one of the most popular contemporary performers. During the weekend, it will host two famous British DJ duos: Disclosure, with their electronic music hits, on Saturday and Tale Of Us, with their recognisable melodic techno sound, on Sunday. High Tech Minimal DJ and masked mogul Boris Brejcha will perform on Monday, while DJ Queen Charlotte de Witte will take the stage on Tuesday. The last day of the festival, Wednesday, is reserved for Black Coffee, an artist who was last year nominated for the best dance album Grammy.
The elite line-up of performers will be complemented by technical production standards that will ensure an impressive audio-visual experience, as well as a great selection of support acts. In the ambience of Pula’s ancient amphitheatre, the organisers plan to set up modern art installations combining contemporary and ancient art, as well as to give many conceptual art developers the opportunity to share their vision of dance music with visitors.
