Man - the key to success in tourism 2011
“People – the Key to Success in Tourism” is a national programme created to promote hospitality and the development of a welcoming atmosphere at tourist destinations. With this programme the Croatian Tourism Board awards the best employees in the Croatian tourism sector. The criteria for receiving this prestigious honour include professionalism (expertise, industriousness, innovativeness), demeanour toward tourists and guests (courtesy, orderliness, communicativeness, competence), results and approval in the work environment. In 2011, at the regional level, the award for best waiter in the Kvarner region was presented to our employee, Mladen Filipović, a waiter at the Valamar Koralj Romantic Hotel.
