The 41st annual ASECAP Study and Information Days will explore the role of the toll roads in promoting sustainable growth. It will be the occasion for high-level panelists representing toll road infrastructure operators and EU decision-makers to discuss sustainability issues related to infrastructure financing, operation, maintenance, safety and the environment, while considering how Intelligent Transport Systems contribute in a most efficient way to the achievement of the goals set.

After seven successful conferences (Capri 2004, Shanghai 2006, Anchorage 2008, Prague 2009, Florence 2010, Sydney 2011, and Minneapolis 2012), the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS) is pleased to announce that the next conference will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, May 30 (opening reception)-June 2, 2013. The conference will begin with a reception the evening of Thursday, May 30, and conclude at lunchtime, Sunday, June 2. The venue will be the Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik hotel, which offers picturesque views of the Adriatic coast in the medieval city of Dubrovnik - a beautiful resort town and one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, whose Old City offers a rich heritage of historical monuments.

The first edition of Cisco Connect, a regional event for South East Europe will be held on May 20th - 22nd in Dubrovnik, Croatia. This unique event offers a high-level forum for presentations on the latest business and technology trends by senior executive speakers, in-depth technology analyses, as well as business-oriented sessions, together with live demonstrations of our solutions and plenty of networking opportunities.

CroEcho2013 will be held in Dubrovnik at the Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik hotel on May 23-25, 2013. CroEcho is an educational, professional and scientific echocardiography meeting as well as the 7th bi-annual meeting organised by the Working Group for Echocardiography and Cardiac Imaging Modalities of the Croatian Cardiac Society.

Higher Education Institutions Conference 2013: "Quality & Governance in Higher Education" is scheduled from 6-7 June 2013 in Dubrovnik, Croatia; organized by the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM), Croatia’s leading business school and in collaboration with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). The Conference plenary will be on the following TOPICS: international education standardization & global challenges, achieving competitiveness, effective governance of higher education institutions, elements of competitive advantage in higher education and higher education and the world of business.

A conference entitled: "Mycoplasmas-a practical approach" will be held in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik from June 6th to June 8th, 2013. The conference will cover mycoplasmas and ureaplasmas of humans, swine, poultry and ruminants and those of more exotic animal species. The conference should contribute to the improvement of diagnostic and control methods in particular the development of new vaccines and treatment for important mycoplasma diseases such as pneumonias and mastitis.

The 31st International Symposium on Diabetes and Nutrition, organized by the Diabetes and Nutrition Study Group (DNSG) will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, from June 27th to 30th, 2013. The main theme of the conference is Obesity, Sugar, Postprandial Metabolism and Dietary Patterns.

34th Annual Meeting of International Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) will be held on August 29-31, 2013 in Dubrovnik Croatia. ISDS will gather dermatologic surgeons in order to exchange innovative techniques and work for standardization and improvement of training programs in dermatologic surgery.

6th Croatian Congress of Psychopharmacotherapy is organized by the Croatian Society for Psychopharmacotherapy and Biological Psychiatry of the Croatian Medical Association and Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences and it will take place from 25 - 28 September, 2013 in Dubrovnik. The Congress is dedicated to the concept of creative psycho-pharmacotherapy developed at the Psychiatric Clinic of the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, situated in the University Hospital Centre Zagreb. The 1st International Conference of Creative Psychopharmacotherapy, as well as the Central European Neuropsycho-pharmacological Symposium with eminent experts from Croatia and abroad will take place at the same time.

The 27th IPMA World Congress, entitled “Finding Balance and Moving Forward” will be held from September 30th to October 3rd, 2013 in Dubrovnik, Croatia, at the Valamar Resort Babin Kuk. The congress is organized by IPMA and CAPM (the Croatian Association for Project Management), with the Civil Engineering Faculty of the University of Zagreb, the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) and the "Baltazar Adam Krčelić" College of Business and Management as co-organizers. For decades, the IPMA World Congress has been the leading world conference on project management, bringing together business professionals, practitioners, managers and representatives of global companies, leading scientists, educators, professors and students, representatives of various sectors and occupations, NGOs and the media.
