Music, lights and festive spirit
In December, the town of Krk once again becomes a stage for holiday magic. From 6 to 31 December, the old town, Veli Park, and the semi-dome in the town centre turn into a place of gathering, light, and warmth, where tradition and modern spirit blend into an unforgettable Advent experience.
This year’s fifth edition of Advent in Krk brings a rich musical programme, charming Advent huts with delicious food and drinks, children’s performances and workshops, and a novelty – Krk Winter Trails, an outdoor segment combining festive atmosphere with active time in nature.
Christmas programme of the Krk Town Culture Centre
Once again, the Krk Town Culture Centre has prepared a rich holiday programme to delight both children and adults – with performances, workshops, and concerts in a magical Christmas setting.
The programme begins on Saturday, 30 November at 11 am in the Great Hall with a children’s play Grandma Winter, introducing the youngest to the upcoming holidays. On Thursday, 5 December at 5 pm, on the Krk waterfront and Kamplin Square, children can look forward to the arrival of St. Nicholas in Krk harbour, accompanied by participants of the Creative Workshops of the Creative Krk Association and the Krk Town Music Band.
