CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read these Terms and Conditions before entering the contest.
The Organizer of the contest called #ValamarMoments is Valamar Riviera d.d., registered at Stancija Kaligari 1, 52440 Poreč, OIB: 36201212847 (hereinafter: the Organizer).
The contest is to be held during the period from July 1st th to September 30th, 2020, 23:59h. The terms and conditions of the contest will be published on this page.
Article 3. Right to Participation
All participants must be guests of the Valamar All you can holiday facilities. Owners, management and employees of the Organizer and their immediate families are excluded from participating in the contest, as well as any other enterprises involved in the organization of the contest.
Article 4. Manner of Participation
In order to enter the contest, it is necessary to complete the following actions:
The participant is to take a photo at the Valamar All you can holiday facility and share it using their Facebook profile on the Valamar All you can holiday Facebook page Timeline (https://www.facebook.com/ValamarHotels.Resorts/) or to share it on their Twitter or Instagram profile. The photo must feature the hashtag #ValamarMoments, and a short photo caption.
All photos must be of original creation and under sole ownership of the participant.
A total of ten best photos, in the opinion of the Valamar Team, consisting of 3 employees of the Valamar Riviera direct marketing sector (hereinafter: the Valamar Team) will be declared as winners. One of the ten best photos, in the opinion of the Valamar Team, will be declared the overall winner and will receive the 1st prize. The other nine participants whose photos are among the ten best ones will be rewarded a consolation prize.
Article 5. Contest Results Announcement
The winners' names will be announced on the Valamar All you can holiday Facebook page within a week of the termination of the contest. All winners will be contacted via the social network they shared the awarded photo on and requested to contact the Organizer via the email address firstname.lastname@example.org within 72 hours from the announcement of the winners in order to obtain more information on how to claim their reward.
Participants in this contest can win the following rewards:
1. The first winner (one participant), the author of the best photo, in opinion of the Valamar Team, will win:
1 x 3 – nights half board stay for two persons at a Valamar All you can holiday 4**** facility of their choice, in the period of their own choice between April 1st and October 1st, 2021.*
*Excluded stays between: 01.8. - 30.8.
*Depending on the availability
2. Consolation prize winners (9 participants), will win:
9 x Valamar All you can holiday promotional package
Each participant who takes part in this contest will not have the right to demand a reward different from the one stated in these Terms and Conditions.
Each participant selected as the winner will not be able to give the reward to someone else or designate someone else as the winner.
If any participant selected as the winner is not eligible as a winner according to these Terms and Conditions or is disqualified for any reason, the Organizer reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
Article 7. Disqualification
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants throughout the course of the contest, in the following cases:
Participants who do not comply with these Terms and Conditions
Participants suspected of not following all the necessary qualification steps of the contest
The Organizer reserves the right to remove any content submitted on the Valamar All you can holiday ' Facebook page, in the following cases:
Content that is in any way, in the opinion of the Valamar Team, considered to be obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable or inappropriate.
Article 8. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Disclaimer
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are not responsible for, nor do have anything to do with the promotion of the contest and are freed from all responsibilities towards each individual participant. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in no way sponsor or manage the contest nor is the contest in any way related to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Article 9. General Provisions
By applying to participate in the contest, the Participants automatically accept the current official Terms and Conditions. The Organizer retains the right to change these Terms and Conditions and all participants shall be duly informed.
Under no circumstance, shall the Organizer and/or its parent, subsidiaries, associates, affiliates and group entities, and their respective directors, employees, officers, agents or representatives be liable to the Participants and/or the Winner and/or any third party for any lost profits or lost opportunities, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever.
By participating in the Contest, the Participants also represent and warrant that they shall solely be liable for any and all actions (criminal/civil) arising there from and shall also be liable to indemnify the Organizer for any loss, claim, dispute, disrepute, disruption caused to it.
The Organizer shall not give out any additional rewards except for the rewards stated in these Terms and Conditions.

Pursuant to the provision of Article 69 Of the Law on Games of Chance (Official Gazette 87/09, 35/13, 158/13, 41/14 and 143/14), Regulation on the organization of prize games (Official Gazette 8/10) with the prior approval of the Ministry of Finance, Class: UP/I-460-02/19-01/781, Reg. No.: 513-07-21-01-19-2 dated 16 December 2019, with the subsequent approval of the Ministry of Finance to amend the rules of the prize game, Class: UP/I-460-02/19-01/781, Reg. CHANGE OF THE RULES OF THE PRIZE GAME
"Win a seven-day stay in 2022!"
The organizer of a prize game called "Win a seven-day stay in 2022!" is VALAMAR RIVIERA joint stock company, with its headquarters in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, OIB: 36201212847 (hereinafter: the Organizer).
The prize game is organized in order to motivate guests staying in hotels, apartments and campings to fill out a survey on service satisfaction in the properties of the Organizer and the properties of IMPERIAL RIVIERA joint stock company, with headquarters in Rab, Jurja Barakovića 2, OIB: 90896496260 ( hereinafter: IMPERIAL RIVIERA d.d.) and HELIOS FAROS joint stock company, with its headquarters in Stari Grad, Naselje Helios 5, OIB: 48594515409 (hereinafter: HELIOS FAROS d.d.), with which the Organizer has concluded a Contract for the management of hotel and tourist properties and facilities, all for the purpose of improving hospitality and other services.
The prize game is held in all properties of the Organizer (hotels, apartments, campings) and in properties of IMPERIAL RIVIERA d.d. and HELIOS FAROS d.d. (hotels, apartments, campings) managed by the Organizer, in the period from 01.01.2020. to 31.12.2021. and has only one round.
The rules of the prize game, stating the class, registration number and date of issuing the approval of the Ministry of Finance, will be published on the Organizer's website: www.valamar.com.
The right to participate in the prize game are guests older than 18 who stay in the properties of the Organizer or properties of IMPERIAL RIVIERA d.d. and HELIOS FAROS d.d. (hotels, apartments and campings), regardless of the price and length of stay in the period from 01.01.2020 to 31.12.2021.
To validly participate in the prize draw by filling out the survey in paper form, participants are required to enter their details (name, surname, address and e-mail address) in the designated place on the survey, give consent to participate in the prize draw and consent to use personal data for participation in the prize game, sign the survey form and put it in the marked box next to the reception of the property where they are staying.
For valid participation in the prize game by filling out the survey in electronic form, participants are required to enter their data (name and e-mail) in the space provided, give consent to participate in the prize game and consent to use personal data to participate in the prize game and submit a completed survey via an online application.
Guests staying in the properties of the Organizers and the companies IMPERIAL RIVIERA d.d. and HELIOS FAROS d.d. (hotels, apartments and campings) have the right to fill out one survey form for each individual stay.
Employees of the Organizer and companies IMPERIAL RIVIERA d.d. and HELIOS FAROS d.d., nor members of their immediate family cannot participate in the prize game.
The prize fund consists of 10 x seven-day stay in the 2022 season in one of the properties (hotels, apartments, campings) owned or managed by the Organizer at the choice of the award winner, depending on the availability and capacity of the property. *
The total value of the prize fund is HRK 90,000.00 (10 x HRK 9,000.00).
Prizes are not exchangeable for money.
* A seven-day stay in one of the hotels owned or managed by the Organizer is valid for two persons and includes half board.
* A seven-day stay in one of the apartments owned or managed by the Organizer is valid for two persons.
* A seven-day stay in one of the campings owned or managed by the Organizer is valid for the winner and for up to 6 persons who would stay with the winner and for one vehicle (1 car and 1 car trailer or 1 tent, or 1 camper).
All submitted paper survey forms that are clearly filled-in will be scanned and stored in a computer database and each survey form will receive its own number, according to the computer program. Surveys completed in electronic form are automatically stored in a computer database and receive their number according to the computer program.
For the drawing of winning forms, the Organizer will appoint a three-member board that will monitor the correctness of the drawing.
The winning survey form will be chosen by the chairman of the board at the public draw by pressing a button on the computer which stops the changing numbers of the survey forms.
In the event that the drawn survey form does not contain all the information about the participant in the space provided on the survey form or does not contain other information from Article 3, paragraph 2 of these Rules, it will not be taken into consideration.
All interested participants can attend the public draw.
The public drawing of prize winners will take place on January 20, 2022. starting at 14:00 at the Organizer's headquarters at Valamar Riviera d.d., Stancija Kaligari 1, 52440 Poreč.
Minutes are kept of the course of the draw.
The results of the draw will be published on the Organizer's website: www.valamar.com within 8 days from the day of the draw.
Prize winners will be notified of the prize by email within 8 days of the draw date.
In order make arrangements on the use of the prize, prize winners should, within 30 days of receiving written notice of the prize, contact the Valamar Reservation Center by mail to Valamar Riviera d.d., Valamar Reservation Center, Stancija Kaligari 1, 52440 Poreč, by phone at +385 52 465 000 or by e-mail address email@example.com
If the prize winners do not arrange the use of the prize within 30 days of receiving the notification of the prize, the Organizer is obliged to notify them again within 8 days of the expiration of the above period, and set a subsequent deadline for "collection" of prizes which may not be shorter than 8 nor longer than 15 days from the date of receiving the notice.
If the prize winner does not collect his prize in the subsequent deadline, he will loose the right to the prize.
All further obligations of the prize game Organizer towards the prize winner cease after the collection of the prize.
In the event that fewer participants are included in the prize draw than the number of prizes provided for in the prize fund, as many prizes will be awarded as there were participants in the prize draw.
The Organizer is obliged to sell the prize fund in the value of more than HRK 5,000.00 which is not given out after the end of the prize game (after the deadline for collecting prizes, termination of the prize game, cancellation or putting it on standby) at a public tender and transfer the money received from the sale into the state budget within 90 days from the expiration date of the deadline for collecting prizes.
The prize draw may be canceled, interrupted or put on hold only in the event of circumstances for which the Organizer is not responsible, or which he could not prevent, eliminate or avoid. Participants will be notified of the cancellation, termination or putting the prize game on hold via the Organizer's website: www.valamar.com
Prize game participants accept the rights and obligations under these Rules.
The Rules come into force after they are approved by the Ministry of Finance and are published on the Organizer's website.
The Organizer has the right to collect and use the data filled in by the participants in the survey form for the prize game for the purpose of direct marketing and exclusively for the purpose of informing about the offers and news of the Organizer and/or IMPERIAL RIVIERA d.d. and/or HELIOS FAROS d.d. via e- mail. In this case, each participant has the right to object to such processing, including the creation of a profile to the extent associated with such direct marketing, either in relation to initial or further processing, at any time and free of charge by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The organizer undertakes to pay 5% of the determined value of the prize fund referred to in Article 6 of these Rules in favor of the Croatian Red Cross.
In the event of a dispute between the Organizer and a participant in the prize draw, the jurisdiction of the court is determined by the Organizer's headquarters.

"Win a seven-day stay!"
The organizer of the contest entitled "Win a seven-day stay!" is Valamar Obertauern.
The contest has been organized to motivate hotel guests to fill out a customer satisfaction survey in the aim of improving quality of service.
The contest will be held at the facilities of the organizer between 29 November 2019 and 15 May 2020; there is only one drawing.
The contest rules will be published at the reception of Valamar Obertauern Hotel, and on the Valamar website at www.valamar.com
All guests of the Organizer’s facilities older than 18 years of age may participate by filling out a survey form and depositing it in the marked box next to the reception desk of the facility in which they are staying between 29 November 2019 and 15 May 2020 all guests may participate regardless of the price or length of their stay. To participate in the contest, participants must fill in their personal data (first name, last name, home address and e-mail address) in the appropriate spaces on the survey form; they must also provide their consent to participate in the contest by marking the appropriate field on the form and by signing the form.
Guests of the Organizer’s facility have the right to complete one survey form per stay.
Employees of the Organizer and their immediate family are not allowed to participate.
The prize fund consists of:
Prizes for all hotel guests:
1x seven-day stay at a Valamar facility (hotel, apartment, campsite) or a facility (hotel, apartment, campsite) operated by Valamar Riviera d.d., Stancija Kaligari 1, Poreč, Croatia, during the 2020 season; the winner may select the facility of his/her choice subject to the current capacity of the Organizer.
* The seven-day stay at one of the Organizer’s hotels or one of the hotels of Valamar Riviera d.d., Stancija Kaligari 1, Poreč, Croatia, is valid for two guests and includes half-board.
The prizes cannot be exchanged for money.
All survey forms submitted that have been legibly filled out will be scanned and stored in a digital database.
In accordance with the programme in which the survey forms will be stored, each form will receive a number. To select a winner, the programme will cycle the numbers of the forms at high speed, and the president of the commission will stop the cycle by pressing a key on the computer, leaving only one number on the screen.
This number will correspond to the number of the winning survey form.
The public drawing will be held at Valamar Riviera d.d., Stancija Kaligari 1, 52440 Poreč, Croatia, on 18 May 2020 at 2:00PM.
If the selected survey form does not contain all of the participant's data (first name, last name, home address and e-mail address) in the appropriate spaces, another form will be drawn.
A three-member commission appointed by Valamar Riviera will supervise the drawing.
Minutes will be taken of the drawing.
All interested parties may attend the public drawing.
The results of the drawing will be published on the website of Valamar Riviera d.d. at www.valamar.com within 8 (eight) days of the drawing.
The winner will be notified of the prize via e-mail within 8 (eight) days of the drawing.
To take advantage of his/her prize, the winner must contact the Valamar Riviera booking center within 30 days of receiving written notice of having won using the following contact information:

If the winner does not contact the Organizer within the time frame specified in this article, the Organizer is required to contact the winner again within 8 days of the expiry of the aforementioned period, as well as to determine an extension of the period in which the winner may "collect" the prize, which is to be no shorter than 8 days and no longer than 15 days after the receipt of the written notice.
If the winner does not collect his/her prize within the extended period, he/she loses the right to the prize.
Once the prize is collected, the Organizer shall be considered to have no further obligations towards the winner.
The contest may be cancelled, terminated, or delayed only in circumstances for which the Organizer cannot be held responsible i.e. could not prevent, remedy or avoid. Participants will be informed of the cancellation, termination or delay of the contest via Valamar's website at www.valamar.com
Participants who take part in the contest accept the rights and obligations arising from these Rules.
