Valamar Summer Fun
Please read these Terms and Conditions before entering the contest.
The Organizer of the contest Valamar Summer Fun is Valamar Riviera d.d., seated in Croatia, Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, OIB: 36201212847 (further: Valamar).
2. Purpose of the contest
Purpose of this contest is to promote Valamar`s touristic properties (hotels, camps and apartments) and destinations.
3. Who can participate in this contest?
Everyone over 18 years old that have valid Instagram and/or Facebook profile, other than Valamar`s employees (and their close relatives) and companies that are managed by Valamar.
Participant`s country of residence is irrelevant.
Valamar reserves the right to disqualify the participant during the Content in the event of any illegal acts and if Participants do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
On Valamar`s Instagram profile @valamarhotels, and Facebook profiles Valamar All You Can Holiday, Valamar All You Can Holiday DE in June, July, August and September 2022 Valamar would post one prize question (each month one question, the same prize question on all mentioned Valamar`s profiles).
Once posted, participants have to publish their creative answer on prize question in the comments.
Deadline for answer is 10 days from first publication of prize question on mentioned Valamar`s profiles.
There is no limit on number of creative answer publications by the same participant.
5. Participant selection and winners
The winner of each prize question will be participant whose one answer is the most creative answer.
For each prize question Valamars Team, consisting of 3 members, will decide at its own discretion who is the winner.
There will be 4 winners in total contest, for each prize question/month one winner.
Winner of each PRIZE QUESTION will win 1 x 2 – night stay for two persons (plus children up to 12,99 years free of charge) in Valamar`s properties in season 2022 or 2023 (except between 01.08. till 31.08. of each year) in the period of their own choice but depending on the availability of the property.
The winner bears the travel expenses to the destination.
The winner – its user name will be announced on mentioned Valamar`s profiles in 72 hours after deadline for answers to each prize question.
All winners will be contacted via Valamar`s profile on which they published their the most creative answer and will be requested to contact the Valamar via the email address social@valamar.com within 48 hours in order to obtain more information on how to claim their reward.
There is no consolation prize and the Organizer shall not give out any additional rewards except for the rewards stated in these Terms and Conditions. Participant who takes part in this contest will not have the right to demand a reward different from the one stated in these Terms and Conditions.
Each participant selected as the winner will not be able to give the reward to someone else or designate someone else as the winner. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or benefits in kind such as gift vouchers. The prizes are non-transferable.
If any participant selected as the winner is not eligible as a winner according to these Terms and Conditions and / or is disqualified for any reason, and / or If the winners do not provide or do not timely submit their personal information to the Organizer, or if they provide incomplete or inaccurate and / or if it is not possible to inform them on the contact information and / or in case of violation of these Terms and / or if they do not accept the prize or if they do not respond to the prize notification, all within the deadline set by the Organizer, the winners lose the right to the prize. The Valamar reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, at the sole discretion of the Valamar.
7. Personal Information, Privacy Policy
By participating in the competition, the Participants automatically acknowledge and accept that Valamar, as controller, will process their provided personal data (user name). Valamar, guarantees the protection of personal data in accordance with the GDPR.

- Participant`s personal data Valamar will save for 3 months after this Contest ends in purpose to accomplish this Contest
- Winners user names will be announced on the Valamar page

Instagram nor Facebook are not responsible for, nor do have anything to do with the promotion of the contest and are freed from all responsibilities towards each individual participant. Instagram nor Facebook, are in no way sponsor or manage the contest nor is the contest in any way related to Instagram and Facebook.
By participating in the Contest, the Participants also represent and warrant that they shall solely be liable for any and all actions (criminal/civil) arising therefrom and shall also be liable to indemnify the Valamar for any loss, claim, dispute, disrepute, disruption caused to it.
The Organizer is not responsible for the speed of the Internet connection used by the participant or for any consequences arising from the quality of the Internet connection, disconnection or any other difficulties that the participant may have during its participation.
By participation in the contest (i.e. posting answers), the Participants automatically accept the current official Terms and Conditions.
Valamar has the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. Valamar also reserves the right at its sole discretion and at any time to cancel the contest.
Under no circumstance, shall the Organizer and/or its parent, subsidiaries, associates, affiliates and group entities, and their respective directors, employees, officers, agents or representatives be liable to the Participants and/or the Winner and/or any third party for any lost profits or lost opportunities, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever.

RULES OF THE PRIZE GAME
"Win a stay at the PLACES Hotel in Austria"
The organiser of the prize game entitled “Win a stay at the PLACES Hotel in Austria” is Valamar Riviera dioničko društvo za turizam, with registered seat in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, PIN: 36201212847 (hereinafter: Organiser).
The prize game is organised in order to promote the brand [PLACES] by Valamar.
The prize game is held at the Valamar Club Tamaris Hotel as part of the Lighthouse Festival on 27 May 2023 in the period from 12.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., and there is only one round.
The rules of the prize game with the indication of the class, registration number and date of issuance of the approval of the Ministry of Finance shall be published on the web site of the Organiser: https://www.valamar.com/en/prize-winning-games.
The right to participate in the prize game is granted to all persons over the age of 18 who register for participation in accordance with these rules.
For a valid participation in the prize game, participants should apply for a photo shoot within the specific location defined by the Organiser, i.e. the Relax Pool of the Valamar Tamaris Resort.
When applying, the official person of the Organiser will provide one certificate with a unique number to the participant, and the other with the same unique number shall be placed into the box provided.
Participants have the right to participate only once in the prize game, i.e. to apply with only one photo.
The employees of the Organiser and members of their immediate family are not allowed to participate in the prize game.
The prize fund consists of:
1 x five nights at Obertauern [PLACESHOTEL] by Valamar managed by the Organiser, in the period from the day of the hotel opening until 22 December 2023, depending on the availability and capacity of the hotel.*
3 x two nights at Obertauern [PLACESHOTEL] by Valamar manager by the Organiser, to be used while the hotel is opened (from 5 to 7 December 2023)*
The total value of the prize fund is EUR 4,665.00, i.e. HRK 35,148.44 according to the fixed conversion rate 7.53450 (1 x EUR 2,475.00, i.e. 1 x HRK 18,647.89 according to the fixed conversion rate 7.53450 and 3 x EUR 730.00, i.e. 3 x HRK 5,500.19 according to the fixed conversion rate 7.53450).
Prizes are not interchangeable for money.
* Stay at the Obertauern [PLACESHOTEL] Hotel by Valamar Marietta GmbH is valid for two persons and includes half board.
To draw winning certificates with a unique number, the Organiser shall appoint a three-member committee to oversee the correctness of the draw.
The winning certificate with a unique number shall be drawn by the committee chairperson at a public draw by pulling it out from the box provided.
All interested parties can attend the public draw.
The public prize draw shall take place on 27 May 2023 starting at 6.00 p.m. at the Relax Pool area of Valamar Tamaris Resort at the address Lanterna 6, 52465 Tar.
In case the winner does not respond after a third call or does not present a certificate with a unique number, the draw shall continue until the winners of all prizes are drawn.
A log on the drawing process shall be kept.
The results of the draw shall be published immediately after the draw and on the Organiser's website: https://www.valamar.com/hr/nagradne-igre within 8 days from the date the winner is drawn.
The prize winners shall be informed about the prize immediately after the draw, and the winner shall be present at the draw and personally take the prize in the form of a printed voucher with a unique code and the associated conditions for the use of the prize.
In order to agree on the use of the prize, the prize winners shall contact the Valamar Reservation Centre by post to the address Valamar Riviera d.d., Valamar rezervacijski centar, Stancija Kaligari 1, 52440 Poreč or by phone at +385 52 465 000 or by e-mail reservations@valamar.com
After accepting the prize, all further obligations of the Organiser to the prize winner shall cease.
In the event that fewer participants are included in the prize draw than the number of prizes provided for in the prize fund, as many prizes shall be awarded as there are participants in the prize draw.
The prize fund worth more than EUR 663.61, which after the end of the prize game (after the expiry of the deadline for the prize draw, termination of the prize game, cancellation or pausing) is not divided, the Organiser shall sell it in a public tender, and the funds received by the sale shall be paid into the state budget within 90 days from the date of expiry of the deadline for collecting the awards.
The prize draw can be cancelled, terminated or paused only in the event of circumstances for which the Organiser is not responsible, or which the Organiser could not prevent, remove or avoid. The participants shall be informed about the cancellation, termination or pausing of the prize game on the web site of the Organiser: https://www.valamar.com/hr/nagradne-igre.
The participants of the prize game accept the rights and obligations of these rules.
The rules shall become applicable after they are approved by the Ministry of Finance and are published on the website of the Organiser.
The Organiser shall keep all personal data of the participants that they collect during this prize game. Personal data necessary for participation in the prize draw shall be used for the purpose of conducting the prize game and shall be deleted within 5 years after the end of the prize game. The name, surname and address of the winner shall be indicated in the log on the drawing process to be submitted to the competent ministry. When the results of the draw are published on the website of the Organiser, the name, surname and country of residence shall be published. In the event that the prize winners book their accommodation, personal data shall also be processed for the purpose of booking accommodation, in which case personal data shall be kept by the companies where the reservation is made in accordance with the applicable privacy policy.
The winners have the right to request from the Organiser as the Controller access, correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of personal data and the right to lodge complaints with the supervisory authority and other rights in accordance with the regulations governing personal data protection. The Data Protection Officer may be contacted by participants in connection with the processing and rights related to personal data by e-mail dpo@valamar.com or by post to: Valamar Riviera d.d., Stancija Kaligari 1, Poreč – za DPO.

The Organiser shall pay 5% of the determined value of the prize fund referred to in Article 6 of these rules for the benefit of the Red Cross.
In the event of a dispute between the Organiser and the participants of the prize competition, the court with jurisdiction is the court with regard to the registered seat of the Organiser.

3. Who can participate in this contest?
Quests of the OBERTAUERN [PLACESHOTEL] BY VALAMAR, KESSELSPITZE VALAMAR COLLECTION HOTEL or VALAMAR OBERTAUERN HOTEL in the winter season 2023/2024, over 18 years old that have valid Instagram and/or Facebook, other than Valamar`s employees (and their close relatives) and companies that are managed by Valamar.
Participant`s country of residence is irrelevant.
Valamar reserves the right to disqualify the participant during the Content in the event of any illegal acts and if Participants do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
In order to enter the contest, it is necessary during the period from January 20th to April 15th, 2024, 23:59h, to share the photo that you took at OBERTAUERN [PLACESHOTEL] BY VALAMAR, KESSELSPITZE VALAMAR COLLECTION HOTEL or VALAMAR OBERTAUERN HOTEL during your holiday in the winter season 2023/2024, on your Facebook or Instagram profile using #ValamarWinterMoments (as your confirmation of participation in contest) and a short photo caption.
There is no limit on the number of photos that one participant can share.
All photos must be of original creation and under sole ownership of the participant as author of the photo.
5. Participant selection and winners
The winners will be participants whose shared photos are the most creative.
A total of five most creative photos, in the opinion of the Valamar Social Media Team, will be declared as winning photos.
One of those five photos, in the opinion of the Valamar Social Media Team, will be declared the overall winning photo and the participant who shared that photo will receive the 1st prize. The other four participants whose photos are among the five best ones will be rewarded with a consolation prize.
Only one Participant can be the winner only once.
Participants in this contest can win the following rewards:

Valamar Advent Calendar Giveaway
Please read these Terms and Conditions before entering the contest.
The Organizer of the contest Valamar Advent Calendar Giveaway is Valamar Riviera d.d., seated in Croatia, Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, OIB: 36201212847 (further: Valamar).
2. Purpose of the contest
Purpose of this contest is to promote Valamar`s touristic facilities (hotels, camps and apartments) and destinations.
The contest is to be held during the period from December 1st to December 25th, 2022, 23:59h. The terms and conditions of the contest will be published on this page.
4. Right & manner of participation
Everyone over 18 years old that have valid Instagram and/or Facebook profile, other than Valamar`s employees (and their close relatives) and companies that are managed by Valamar.
Owners, management and employees of the Organizer and their immediate families are excluded from participating in the contest, as well as any other enterprises involved in the organization of the contest.
Participant`s country of residence is irrelevant.
Valamar reserves the right to disqualify the participant during the Content in the event of any illegal acts and if Participants do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
On the following Valamar profiles:
every day from 1st of December to 25th of December one post will be posted on each profile simultaneously. Each post will contain one of the following ways to win a giveaway, or giveaway type:
- Quiz questions
- Comment requirements
- Photo requirements
Also, every day posts will contain the prize that is going to be win by one of the participants.
6. Participant selection and winners
For each day Valamar Team, consisting of 3 members will declare a winner.
There will be 25 winners in total contest, for each day one winner.
Participants can participate multiple times during the contest.
The winner of each day by giveaway type will be:
- Quiz questions - the winner of each quiz day will be participant who has answered the most of the questions correctly in shorter time.
- Best comment - the winner of each best comment day will be participant who by the Valamars Team, consisting of 3 members, has the most creative comment.
- Best photo - the winner of each best photo day will be participant who by the Valamars Team, consisting of 3 members, has the most inspiring photo.
Participants in this contest can win the following rewards:
1. On the last day of the contest, December 25th, one winner (one participant) will win: 1 x 4 – nights half board stay for two persons at a Valamar All you can holiday 4**** facility of their choice, in the period of their own choice between April 1st and October 1st, 2023.* (Excluded stays between: 1.7.2023 - 30.8.2023. & depending on the availability)
*The winner bears the travel expenses to the destination.
2. In the period between December 1 and December 24, one winner each day (24 participants) will win: 24 x Valamar All you can holiday mystery gift containing some special loyalty gift, promotional package or etc.
The daily winner for the previous day will be announced on the Valamar webpage https://www.valamar.com/en/prize-winning-games and in the comments below the post every day at 12 PM during the duration of the contest. All winners will be contacted via the social network they shared the awarded photo or comment on and requested to contact the Organizer via the email address social@valamar.com within 72 hours from the announcement of the winners in order to obtain more information on how to claim their reward.
There is no consolation prize and the Organizer shall not give out any additional rewards except for the rewards stated in these Terms and Conditions. Participant who takes part in this contest will not have the right to demand a reward different from the one stated in these Terms and Conditions.
Each participant selected as the winner will not be able to give the reward to someone else or designate someone else as the winner. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or benefits in kind such as gift vouchers. The prizes are non-transferable.
If any participant selected as the winner is not eligible as a winner according to these Terms and Conditions and / or is disqualified for any reason, and / or If the winners do not provide or do not timely submit their personal information to the Organizer, or if they provide incomplete or inaccurate and / or if it is not possible to inform them on the contact information and / or in case of violation of these Terms and / or if they do not accept the prize or if they do not respond to the prize notification, all within the deadline set by the Organizer, the winners lose the right to the prize. The Valamar reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, at the sole discretion of the Valamar.

By participating in the competition, the Participants automatically acknowledge and accept that Valamar, as controller, will process their provided personal data (user name). Valamar, guarantees the protection of personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
Therefore, please notice:
- Participant`s personal data Valamar will save for 3 months after this Contest ends in purpose to accomplish this Contest;
- Winners user names will be announced on the Valamar page and in the comments below the post;
- Winners will give to the Valamar all additional data that are necessary for Valamar to fulfil it`s obligation for accommodation in accordance with applicable law and other rules.
The Participants have the right at all times to request access to the collected personal data, to the correction of personal data, to cease participation in this content and to erase personal data and all other rights in accordance with EU GDPR contacting Valamar on e-mail dpo@valamar.com. - protect your privacy by keeping in mind that your comments and photos are public.

Instagram nor Facebook are not responsible for, nor do have anything to do with the promotion of the contest and are freed from all responsibilities towards each individual participant. Instagram nor Facebook, are in no way sponsor or manage the contest nor is the contest in any way related to Instagram and Facebook.
By participating in the Contest, the Participants also represent and warrant that they shall solely be liable for any and all actions (criminal/civil) arising therefrom and shall also be liable to indemnify the Valamar for any loss, claim, dispute, disrepute, disruption caused to it.
