Entering the prize game
Participants can enter the prize game by completing the electronic entry form available on the official website of the Organiser: www.pical.valamar.com. The entry form can be accessed in one of the following ways:
- by directly visiting the website,
- via links published in promotional materials (including newsletters, messages, paid advertising, posts on Valamar’s social media profiles, and other types of communications),
- by using a unique referral link assigned to previous participants.
On the entry form, the participant must:
- enter their personal information: first name, last name, address, phone/mobile number, and email address,
- confirm their acceptance of these Rules,
- confirm that they have been informed about the processing of personal data,
- click on the button to submit their entry.
IMPORTANT: Each participant may submit the entry form only once, using a single personal email address and one phone/mobile number. Multiple entries from the same person using different email addresses and/or phone/mobile numbers are not allowed. Such entries constitute a violation of the rules.
Participants are required to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information that matches their official identification. Entering incorrect, fictitious, or false information (e.g., fake names, non-existent addresses, phone numbers that do not belong to the participant) also constitutes a violation of the rules. The Organiser has the right to disqualify any entries that breach these Rules, both before and after the draw.
Confirmation of registration (double opt-in)
After submitting the entry form, the participant will receive an email to activate their entry. To complete their entry, they need to confirm their registration by clicking the link in that message. This procedure was introduced to protect against incorrect entries or misuse of email addresses.
Increasing your chances of winning
Each validly registered participant receives one entry into the prize draw (an “Entry Coupon”). Participants can also earn additional Entry Coupons and thus increase their chances of winning prizes. In the activation email, the participant will receive a unique referral link, which will also be available in their user account. By sharing this referral link, the participant receives one additional Entry Coupon for each new valid registration made through that link. The maximum number of additional Entry Coupons per participant via the referral link is 99. The number of additional Entry Coupons with unique registration codes can be viewed in the participant's user account. The participant will not be able to see who has used their referral link, only the total number of resulting entries. If a person who registered via a referral link withdraws from the prize game, the Entry Coupon associated with that registration will be voided.
Sharing the referral link is not a requirement for participation, but an opportunity to increase your chances of winning under the specified conditions.
Each participant who enters the prize game via a referral link acknowledges that the participant whose link they used will receive one additional Entry Coupon.
Participants must not use automated systems (e.g., bots, scripts) to share their referral link.
Participant User Account
After completing their registration, participants can access their user account at www.pical.valamar.com using their email address. For each login attempt, a six-digit one-time password (OTP) will be sent to that address and must be entered to log in. This password is valid only on the day of issue, ensuring an additional level of security.
In their user account, a participant can:
- view their personal data,
- access their referral link to share it with others,
- see the number of their Entry Coupons (one for their own entry and additional ones from referrals), the unique codes for each Entry Coupon, and the date of each registration,
- object to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes based on the Organiser's legitimate interest,
- withdraw from the prize draw.
Technical Processing of Entries
All confirmed entries are automatically stored in a computer database. Each participant is assigned a unique participant number, and each Entry Coupon (both the initial and any additional ones) is linked to that number for use in the prize draw.
The prize pool consists of the following prizes:

- JAZ by Ana Roš Poreč, Eugena Kumičića 3, Poreč.
Redeemable in 2026, subject to restaurant opening times and availability.
Estimated prize value: EUR 700.00.
4. PRIZE

Voucher for the use of 2 sunbeds in the VIP zone of Pical Beach Club for one day, with a food and beverage credit of EUR 200.00 to be used on the same day in the Pical Beach Club zone.
Estimated prize value: EUR 360.00.
5. PRIZE
1 x
Voucher for dinner (tasting menu) for 2 people at Harry's Piccolo restaurant in Poreč. Redeemable at Pical Resort in 2026, subject to restaurant opening times and availability.
Estimated prize value: EUR 300.00.
The total value of the prize pool is EUR 88,860.00.
Vouchers are issued in the name of the winner and contain their unique participant number.
The voucher is valid until the prize is fully redeemed by the winner in accordance with these terms.
Voucher prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
The voucher is indivisible and non-transferable.
The winner must always be one of the people using the prize.
Conditions for redeeming the 1st and 2nd prizes:
- The standard food and beverage offer for the selected accommodation type at Pical Resort 5*, Valamar Collection is included.
- Booking dates are subject to availability and capacity at Pical Resort 5*, Valamar Collection.
- The voucher is not valid for accommodation at Pical Beach House and excludes the V-Level Penthouse at Pical Hotel and the V-Level Panoramic Suite at Pical Suites 5*.
- The winner may purchase additional nights, add extra guests, or book other services at standard rates.
- The prize includes accommodation for two people in a single accommodation unit.
- If the winner chooses to use the accommodation alone, i.e. without the company of another person, the unused part of the prize (for the second person) is forfeited and cannot be used later, transferred, or compensated.
The public prize draw will take place at 10:00 on 19 December 2025 at the Valamar Diamant Hotel in Poreč, Croatia.
For the purpose of the draw, the Organiser will appoint a three-member panel to oversee the integrity of the prize draw. A notary public will also be present at the draw.
Winners will be drawn by random selection using a custom-built computer application that uses a random number generator. The chairperson of the panel will stop the randomization of the Entry Coupon numbers by pressing a button on the computer, thereby ensuring the objectivity of the draw. All prize winners will be drawn at the public prize draw.
No alternate winners will be drawn. However, the Organiser reserves the right to verify the identity of winners before awarding a prize (e.g., by calling the phone / mobile phone number provided in the entry form) and to disqualify any participants found to have provided incorrect or false information, or entered using inauthentic user accounts. If a drawn participant is found not to meet the eligibility criteria or to be in breach of the Rules, they will be disqualified, and a new winner will be drawn immediately.
The notary public will keep an official record of the draw proceedings. This record will include: the place and time of the draw, the class and registration number, the date of the prize game's approval, the date and name of the media where these Rules were published, the names and places of residence of the panel members, the winner selection method, the name, address, and prize details for each winner. The record, signed by the notary public and all panel members, will be submitted by the Organiser to the Ministry of Finance within eight days of the prize draw.
Each participant can be selected as a winner only once.
The Organiser will allow any natural and interested person to attend the draw.
The Organiser will notify the winners by telephone and in writing (by email) within eight days of the prize draw.
The Organiser will publicly announce the prize winners on its websites: www.valamar.com/hr/nagradne-igre and www.pical.valamar.com. This announcement will include the mandatory disclosure of the winners' personal data (full name and town/city of residence).
CLAIMING PRIZES
Article 8
Winners must contact the Organiser at social@valamar.com to arrange collection of their prize within 8 to 30 days of receiving written notification.
The prize is considered delivered when the Organiser emails the winner a voucher containing their unique participant number and personal details. This will be done within 24 hours of the winner contacting the Organiser to claim the prize.
If a winner does not contact the Organiser within 30 days of receiving notification, the Organiser shall notify them again within 8 days of that deadline expiring. The Organiser shall set a subsequent collection deadline, which shall be no less than 8 and no more than 15 days from the receipt of the second notification. If the winner fails to claim the prize within this extended deadline, they forfeit their right to the prize.
Upon delivery of the prize, all further obligations of the Organiser towards the winner cease, regardless of whether the winner ultimately uses the voucher or not.
Bookings using the accommodation voucher must be made in advance each year with the Valamar Reservation Centre, either by phone at +385 52 465 000 or by email at reservations@valamar.com.
In the event that fewer eligible entries are received than the number of prizes available in the prize pool, only the number of prizes corresponding to the number of entries will be awarded.
Any unawarded part of the prize pool exceeding EUR 663.61 after the prize game ends (i.e., after the claim deadline expires, or in the event of cancellation or suspension) shall be sold by the Organiser at a public auction. The proceeds from the sale shall be paid into the state budget within 90 days of the prize claim deadline.
INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Article 10
Personal Data Protection Statement
The Organiser, Valamar Riviera joint-stock company for tourism, with its registered office in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, VAT ID: 36201212847, as the Data Controller, guarantees the protection of participants' personal data in the prize game in accordance with applicable regulations, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on data protection (the “General Data Protection Regulation”, GDPR).
By participating in the prize game, participants accept these Rules and acknowledge that their personal data will be processed by Valamar Riviera d.d. as the Data Controller.
Participants’ Personal Data
The Organiser processes the following personal data of participants:
- full name;
- address of residence;
- phone/mobile number;
- email address.
The data is primarily processed for the purposes of administering the prize game, including:
- registering participants,
- verifying eligibility,
- contacting winners,
- awarding and delivering prizes.
The legal basis for this processing is the participant's entry, through which they accept these Rules, thereby creating a contractual relationship between the participant and the Organiser.
All participants' user accounts will be deactivated no later than one week after the draw. Participants' personal data will be archived for a maximum of five years after the prize game ends, based on the Organiser's legitimate interest in defending against potential legal claims.

Winners' Personal Data
Winners' personal data (full name, address of residence, prize details and value) will be recorded in the notary public's record, which shall be drawn up and retained in accordance with notarial regulations. This record is submitted to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia, which shall then become the data controller for the winners' personal data and process it accordingly.
The Organiser will keep the record of the prize draw until all awarded prizes have been redeemed, but for no longer than is required by applicable accounting and tax regulations. The record serves as credible evidence of prize awarding, particularly when a prize is redeemed over future periods, and is necessary for proper accounting.
In accordance with these Rules and legal obligations, the full name and town/city of residence of the winners will be publicly announced.
Winners will provide the additional personal data required for prize redemption. This data will be processed in accordance with the Organiser's policies for guests and will be retained until the prize is fully redeemed.
The Organiser reserves the right to verify the identity of any person claiming a prize.
Data Processors
Personal data may be shared with Data Processors (e.g., technical partners, IT service providers) with whom the Organiser has appropriate data processing and confidentiality agreements in place.
IMPORTANT – Direct Marketing
The Organiser reserves the right to use Participants' contact details for direct marketing purposes, based on its legitimate interest. Direct marketing includes sending promotional messages about Valamar properties, accommodation offers, special deals, events, and related services. Messages may be sent by email, SMS, or instant messaging platforms such as Viber and WhatsApp.
By entering the prize game, Participants voluntarily establish a relationship with the Organiser, providing their contact details for the purpose of participation in the promotion and expressing interest in the prizes, which are the Organiser’s services – tourist accommodation and other services at Valamar properties. Based on this relationship, the Organiser believes that Participants have a reasonable expectation of being contacted with offers for similar services, which constitutes a legitimate interest for the Organiser.
Participants shall be informed of this processing upon registration. The Organiser has conducted a legitimate interest assessment to ensure compliance with data protection regulations. The balance of interests has been achieved by allowing a simple and free-of-charge way to object to the processing of personal data for the purpose of direct marketing at any time, namely:
- by clicking on the objection field within the participant's user account during the prize game;
- by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or blocking the sender in accordance with the rules of online channels;
- by sending an email to dpo@valamar.com.
Any such objection will be accepted with no negative consequences for the participant's entry in the prize game.
Participant Rights
Participants have the right:
- to access their personal data,
- to rectify or erase their data,
- to restrict processing,
- to data portability,
- to object to processing.

FINAL PROVISIONS
Article 11
The prize game can be cancelled, suspended, or postponed only in the event of circumstances beyond the Organiser's reasonable control, which could not be prevented, eliminated, or avoided. Participants shall be informed of any cancellation, suspension, or postponement via the Organiser's websites: www.pical.valamar.com and https://www.valamar.com/en/prize-winning-games.
The Organiser has paid 5% of the total value of the prize pool, as defined in these Rules, to the Croatian Red Cross.
The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any technical difficulties, registration errors, lack of internet connectivity, system errors, or other circumstances that may affect a participant's ability to enter the prize game.
By entering the prize game, participants are responsible for their own actions and any resulting damage, including any damage to the Organiser. Under no circumstances shall the Organiser be liable to participants, winners, or any third party for damages arising from participation in this prize game.
The Organiser reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and referral activities. In the event of a confirmed breach of the rules, the associated entries will be void, and the participant may be disqualified from the prize game without prior notice. If damage is caused to the Organiser or a third party, the participant bears full responsibility, which may include legal consequences.
To protect against automated entries, the registration system includes a CAPTCHA check. Participants must successfully complete this check for their entry to be valid.
Participants are responsible for any tax obligations arising from winning a prize, in accordance with the laws of their country of residence or domicile. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any tax or other legal obligations that may arise for participants in connection with a prize, especially for participants residing outside the Republic of Croatia.
A participant may withdraw from the prize game at any time before 11:59 PM on 18 December 2025 by submitting a written statement of withdrawal to social@valamar.com or by selecting the withdrawal option in their user account. Upon withdrawal, the participant's user account will be deactivated. If the participant re-registers, they will be assigned a new unique number and will forfeit any Entry Coupons earned from their previous entry.
In the event of a dispute between the Organiser and a participant or winner, the parties will endeavour to resolve it amicably. If this is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Croatia, with venue determined according to the registered office of Valamar. These Rules are governed by Croatian law.
The Organiser reserves the right to interpret these Rules through its panel, which is responsible for implementing them.
This prize game is not in any way connected with Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, or other social networks. These platforms are not involved in the organization, promotion, or sponsorship of the prize game.
These Rules are published in Croatian, Slovenian, German, and English. The governing version is the one in the Croatian language.
By participating in the prize game, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to be bound by these Rules.
These Rules shall become effective after approval by the Ministry of Finance and publication on the Organiser’s website.
1120 nights' accommodation for two people, max. 4 nights per year, subject to the conditions outlined in these Rules.
