CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read these Terms and Conditions before entering the contest.
The Organizer of the contest called #ValamarMoments is Valamar Riviera d.d., registered at Stancija Kaligari 1, 52440 Poreč, OIB: 36201212847 (hereinafter: the Organizer).
The contest is to be held during the period from June 15th to September 15th, 2019, 23:59h.
The terms and conditions of the contest will be published on this page.
Article 3. Right to Participation
All participants must be guests of the Valamar All you can holiday facilities. Owners, management and employees of the Organizer and their immediate families are excluded from participating in the contest, as well as any other enterprises involved in the organization of the contest.
Article 4. Manner of Participation
In order to enter the contest, it is necessary to complete the following actions:
The participant is to take a photo at the Valamar All you can holiday facility and share it using their Facebook profile on the Valamar All you can holiday Facebook page Timeline (https://www.facebook.com/ValamarHotels.Resorts/) or to share it on their Twitter or Instagram profile. The photo must feature the hashtag #ValamarMoments, and a short photo caption.
All photos must be of original creation and under sole ownership of the participant.
A total of ten best photos, in the opinion of the Valamar Team, consisting of 3 employees of the Valamar Riviera direct marketing sector (hereinafter: the Valamar Team) will be declared as winners. One of the ten best photos, in the opinion of the Valamar Team, will be declared the overall winner and will receive the 1st prize. The other nine participants whose photos are among the ten best ones will be rewarded a consolation prize.
Article 5. Contest Results Announcement
The winners' names will be announced on the Valamar All you can holiday Facebook page within a week of the termination of the contest. All winners will be contacted via the social network they shared the awarded photo on and requested to contact the Organizer via the email address firstname.lastname@example.org within 72 hours from the announcement of the winners in order to obtain more information on how to claim their reward.
Participants in this contest can win the following rewards:
1. The first winner (one participant), the author of the best photo, in opinion of the Valamar Team, will win:
1 x 4 – day half board stay for two persons at a Valamar All you can holiday 4**** facility of their choice, in the period of their own choice between April 1st and October 1st, 2020.*
*Excluded stays between: 01.08. – 30.08
2. Consolation prize winners (9 participants), will win:
9 x Valamar All you can holiday promotional package
Each participant who takes part in this contest will not have the right to demand a reward different from the one stated in these Terms and Conditions.
Each participant selected as the winner will not be able to give the reward to someone else or designate someone else as the winner.
If any participant selected as the winner is not eligible as a winner according to these Terms and Conditions or is disqualified for any reason, the Organizer reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
Article 7. Disqualification
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants throughout the course of the contest, in the following cases:
Participants who do not comply with these Terms and Conditions
Participants suspected of not following all the necessary qualification steps of the contest
The Organizer reserves the right to remove any content submitted on the Valamar All you can holiday ' Facebook page, in the following cases:
Content that is in any way, in the opinion of the Valamar Team, considered to be obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable or inappropriate.
Article 8. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Disclaimer
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are not responsible for, nor do have anything to do with the promotion of the contest and are freed from all responsibilities towards each individual participant. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in no way sponsor or manage the contest nor is the contest in any way related to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Article 9. General Provisions
By applying to participate in the contest, the Participants automatically accept the current official Terms and Conditions. The Organizer retains the right to change these Terms and Conditions and all participants shall be duly informed.
Under no circumstance, shall the Organizer and/or its parent, subsidiaries, associates, affiliates and group entities, and their respective directors, employees, officers, agents or representatives be liable to the Participants and/or the Winner and/or any third party for any lost profits or lost opportunities, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever.
By participating in the Contest, the Participants also represent and warrant that they shall solely be liable for any and all actions (criminal/civil) arising there from and shall also be liable to indemnify the Organizer for any loss, claim, dispute, disrepute, disruption caused to it.
The Organizer shall not give out any additional rewards except for the rewards stated in these Terms and Conditions.

Pursuant to Article 69 of the Games of Chance Act (Official Gazette 87/09,35/13,158/13,41/14, 143/14), and the approval of the Ministry of Finance (Class: UP/I-460-02/17-01/755, Reg. No: 513-07-21-01/17-3) issued in Zagreb on 28th December 2017, VALAMAR RIVIERA, a joint-stock company, based in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, PIN: 36201212847, set forth the following:
RULES FOR THE PRIZE GIVEAWAY
"Win a 7-day Stay"
The Organizer of the ‘Win a 7-day Stay’ prize giveaway is VALAMAR RIVIERA, a joint-stock company, based in Poreč, Stancija Kaligari 1, PIN: 36201212847, (hereinafter: 'The Organizer'). The prize giveaway is organized to encourage guests of the business establishments of the Organizer (guests at the hotels, apartments, and campsites) to fill out a service satisfaction survey, with the aim of improving services.
The prize giveaway takes place in all business establishments owned by the Organizer (hotels, apartments, campsites) in the period from 15 January 2018 to 31 December 2018, and has only one round.
The prize giveaway rules stating the class, registration number, and date of approval of the Ministry of Finance will be published on the Valamar website: www.valamar.com
All guests of the business establishments of the Organizers (hotels, apartments, campsites) older than 18 years of age can take part, regardless of the rates or length of stay. In the period from 15 January to 31 December 2018 they have to fill out a survey and place it in the clearly marked box next to the front desk of the business establishment where they are staying. To take part in the prize giveaway the participants have to fill out their information (full name, address and e-mail) in the appropriate field on the survey form.
The guests of the business establishments of the Organizers (hotels, apartments, campsites) can fill out one survey for one stay. In the event that the persons are staying in the same or different business establishments during different time periods, they can fill out one survey for each uninterrupted stay.
The Organizer’s staff and their immediate families cannot take part in the prize giveaway.
The prize pool consists of:
The prizes for all hotel, apartment, and campsite guests:
5 x 7-day stay in one of the establishments (hotels, apartments, campsites) owned or managed by the Organizer during the 2019 season, when the winner wishes to stay, subject to the Organizer’s current availability*
The total value of the prize pool is HRK 67,500.00

* 7-night stay in one of the hotels owned or managed by the Organizer is valid for two persons and includes half board.
** 7-night stay in one of the apartments owned or managed by the Organizer is valid for two persons.
*** 7-night stay in one of the campsites owned or managed by the Organizer is valid for the winner and up to 6 persons who are staying with the winner, and for one vehicle (1 car and 1 RV or tent, or 1 trailer).
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
All submitted surveys which are filled out clearly will be scanned and stored in a computer database.
In accordance with the computer program where the survey forms are stored, each survey form will get its number, and by pressing a key on the computer at a time when the serial numbers of the forms alternate at a high speed the President of the Commission will stop the alternation at one number.
The winning survey form will be determined in the aforementioned way of obtaining the prize number.
The public drawing of winners will take place at Valamar Riviera d.d., Stancija Kaligari 1, 52440 Poreč, on 21 January 2019, starting at 2 pm.
In the event that the selected survey does not contain all information about the participant (name, address and e-mail address) specified in the space provided on the survey form, another winner will be drawn.
The draw will be overseen by a three-member commission appointed by the Organizer.
Minutes will be kept on the draw.
All interested participants can attend the public draw.
The results will be published within 8 days from the day of the draw on the Valamar page www.valamar.com.
All prize winners will be notified of their prize in writing (by mail or e-mail) within 8 days of the day of the prize drawing.
The winners should set up the time to claim their prize by contacting the Valamar booking centre using the following contact details within 30 days of receipt of written notification of their prize:

If the prize winners do not agree on the time to claim their prizes in the period set out in this Article, the Organizers are obliged to notify them of the win again within 8 days of the expiry of the above deadlines, and determine a new deadline to claim the prize, which may not be less than 8 or more than 15 days after the receipt of the notice.
If the winner does not claim his/her prize during the additional period, he/she forfeits the right to the prize.
Claiming the prize stops all further obligations of the prize giveaway Organizer to the winner.
In the event that fewer participants take part in the prize giveaway than there are prizes set forth in the prize pool, there will be as many prizes given out as there are participants in the giveaway.
The Organizer is obligated to sell the prize pool worth more than HRK 5,000.00, which after the end of the prize giveaway (after the deadline for claiming prizes, giveaway interruption, cancellation or suspension) is not given out, using a public tender, and deposit the proceeds into the state budget within 90 days from the deadline for claiming the prizes.
The prize giveaway may be cancelled, interrupted, or suspended only in the event of circumstances for which the Organizer is not responsible, or which he could not have prevented, eliminated, or avoided. The participants will be notified of the cancellation, termination, or suspension of the giveaway using the Valamar website: www.valamar.com
A participant who takes part in the prize giveaway accepts the rights and obligations under these Rules. The Rules take effect after the Ministry of Finance’s approval and publication thereof.
The Organizer undertakes to pay 5% of the established value of the prize pool to the Croatian Red Cross.
In the event of a dispute between the Organizer and a participant of this prize giveaway the competent court of the seat of the Organizer has jurisdiction.
