  • For each reservation made through Valamar online booking or Valamar reservation center, we guarantee the lowest price.
  • For stays without previously made reservations, the prices and conditions in accordance with the valid price list on the reception apply.
  • Sojourn tax is included in price
  • Tourist tax is not included in the price of the Valamar Obertauern Hotel.
  • If you are interested to reserve a stay with breakfast, please either contact the Valamar reservation center

  • Deductions from half board price for stays with breakfast per day per room are as follows:

  • 5 € in single-bed rooms
  • 10 € in double/twin rooms
  • 15 € in triple rooms, quad rooms and studios
  • 20 € in family rooms, suites and residence rooms

Baby cot on request

  • Included in the apartment price are: bed linen, electricity and water consumption, kitchenware and tableware, cleaning materials, weekly change of bed linen and final cleaning.

Pets are allowed in most hotels and resorts

  • The price for pet stay is €25 per day, except in 2-star properties, where it is €15 per day; in the Valamar Obertauern Hotel it amounts to €29 per day. When booking, the guest is required to provide information about the pet. Each pet must have a health certificate. By confirming the reservation, the guest automatically accepts full responsibility for the pet.

  • At check-in you will be asked to confirm your departure date. In the case of an earlier departure a fee in the amount of one-night stay per unit will be applied. In the period from 30 June until 01 September that fee includes all remaining days of your stay. The early departure fee might not be applied in case of illness or force majeure.
  • In the event of overbooking, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate guests in a property of the same or higher category.
  • If five or more accommodation units are booked, different payment/cancellation conditions apply.


  • Your credit card is used as a reservation guarantee. Credit card may be pre-authorised and charged in the amount of your first night’s stay. Payment is upon arrival at the reception desk with credit card or cash. We accept MasterCard, Diners Club, Visa and Maestro. We do not accept Diners Club cards at the Valamar Obertauern Hotel.
  • If you do not have a credit card you can guarantee your stay by making a deposit in the amount of the cost of one night per room. The deposit must be paid within 7 days upon receipt of the confirmation and the payment slip must include the booking confirmation number.

  • The property reserves the right to preauthorize the credit card in the amount of the cost of your stay.
  • For a 100% relaxed holiday you can already now pre-pay your accommodation - just click on this link www.valamar.com/guarantee and follow the instructions.
  • Payment upon arrival is possible:
    1. by cash in HRK (Croatian currency, for amounts under €10,000.00 at the current exchange rate)
    2. by cash in EUR as stated on your booking confirmation (for amounts under €10,000.00)
    3. by cash in any other currency or by credit card or Maestro card based on the current exchange rate. The current exchange rate is stated on the invoice.
  • For Croatian citizens payment is allowed only in HRK or with credit cards.
  • Please note that your credit card will be charged in HRK (Croatian currency). Your bank hereinafter converts this amount to the currency of your domestic account. Due to your bank's exchange rate this may result in a slightly different (higher) total charge than the amount stated in HRK on our hotel invoice.
  • To avoid possible cost due to cancellation time we recommend you to purchase travel insurance with our partners UNIQA www.valamar.com/en/travel-insurance and make your holiday more safe.

  • Credit card is required for booking. We accept EuroCard/MasterCard or Visa.
  • Your personal data, and the data on your credit card, are fully protected. The transfer of data is carried out via a safe server.
  • Valamar, as the data controller, processes your personal data collected during the accommodation reservation process for the purpose of fulfilling the accommodation contract and legal obligations related to the hospitality industry, and may use them for other purposes provided for by positive regulations. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

RESERVATION CANCELLATION CONDITIONS (depending on the chosen Rate type):


  • Free of charge cancellation:
    - up to 4 days prior to arrival until 14:00 hours (CET) (Valamar Hotels & Resorts, [PLACES] by Valamar, Sunny by Valamar) - see properties
    - up to 2 days prior to arrival until 14:00 hours (CET) (Dubrovnik) - see properties
    - up to 7 days prior to arrival until 14:00 hours (CET) (Valamar Collection) - see properties
  • Credit card is required as a guarantee for your reservation.
  • In the case of a guest no-show without prior cancellation, your card will be charged in the full amount of the reservation.
  • Your credit card may be pre-authorised 21 days prior to arrival in the amount of your first night's stay.
  • Within the cancellation period, we may charge your credit card in the amount of your first night's stay for each accommodation unit. For cancellation after the cancellation period, the amount charged to your card will not be refunded.
  • You will be informed if your credit card is declined for preauthorisation. In case we cannot charge your credit card, your reservation will be cancelled.


  • Once booked this reservation cannot be cancelled.
  • The full amount of the reservation will be charged within seven days of booking.



  • Free of charge cancellation up to 30 days prior to arrival until 14:00 hours (CET).
  • During the cancellation period, we may charge up to 50% of the reservation amount to your credit card.
  • For cancellation after the cancellation period, the amount charged to your card will not be refunded.


  • The reservation cannot be canceled.
  • The full amount of the reservation will be charged within seven days of booking.


If you book your accommodation directly on the Valamar website or through our reservation centre, we guarantee the best online price.

  • If you find an online price that is lower than the one published on our website for the same hotel, dates, rooms and service, after verification we will offer you this same rate reduced by an additional 5%.
  • Write us an e-mail (reservations@valamar.com).
  • We will verify your request to make sure that it complies with our Terms and conditions. If your request is valid, we will grant you an additional 5% discount on the lower rate that you found.
  • Our reservation centre will verify your request and contact you within 72 hours.

Terms and conditions:

  • The competitive price must be bookable online on another website under the same conditions as those on the Valamar website. Such a competitive price must be bookable online and in real time.
  • The price must refer to the same hotel, same type of accommodation unit, same period of stay, same service and same number of guests. The guarantee does not apply to websites offering non-transparent prices and services (e.g. priceline.com, hotwire.com) or any of their affiliates or similar websites. The guarantee also does not apply to online reservations made through other websites that do not provide and confirm the name of the hotel/facility during the reservation process to the guest.
  • The guarantee does not apply to competitive prices that have restrictions in their reservation terms which significantly differ from the reservation restrictions on the Valamar website (cancellation policy, deposit limits, minimum stay, etc.).
  • The guarantee does not apply to any non-public or confidential prices, prices that require advance payments and prepaid vouchers, hotel rooms sold as a part of holiday packages with other services included, corporate discounted prices, group prices, coupon sales, etc.
  • The guarantee applies to the final price for the entire stay, including all service charges, taxes, or other fees.
  • The guarantee is applied to the total price for the entire stay rather than to the price for one or several days during the stay.
  • The guarantee will not apply if the prices differ by €5 or less per day.
