Terms & Conditions

Basic information

These General Terms and Conditions of Hospitality Services Contracts (hereinafter: GTC) apply to contracts for hospitality services (hotel services, accommodation in tourist apartments, and camping services) concluded through:

  1. websites www.valamar.com, www.valamarcamping.com, www.places-hotels.com
  2. mobile applications [PLACESAPP] and My Valamar app which redirect to the websites
  3. phone — reservation center number +385 52 465 000 or +385 1 884 8658
  4. e-mail reservations@valamar.com or skiing@valamar.com (either direct inquiries or inquiries via Chat on Valamar's websites or other communication channels (collectively: Platforms) between Valamar Riviera d.d. and other Accommodation Service Providers as defined below, on one side, and Customers, individuals over 18 years of age, on the other side, who enter into accommodation contracts for their private purposes.

These General Terms and Conditions of Hospitality Services Contracts contain all pre-contractual notices in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and commercial communication in accordance with the Electronic Commerce Act.

Please read these General Terms and Conditions of Hospitality Services Contracts carefully. If you do not agree and do not accept the rights and obligations from these GTC, you must not contract hospitality services through the Platforms. By using the Platform, it is considered that you are over 18 years old and that you have fully read, understood, and accepted the rights and obligations from the GTC and agree that they fully apply to you.

Valamar is a leading hotel company in leisure tourism and a partner to tourist destinations in creating authentic experiences. Given the nature of its business in accommodation sales, Valamar has obtained all necessary permits for operating as a travel agency, whose basic information is as follows:

The Ministry of Tourism performs administrative supervision over the operations of the travel agency.

The State Inspectorate, through tourist inspectors, conducts inspection supervision over the implementation of the Tourism Services Act, conditions, and methods of operation of travel agencies.


Valamar has accommodation facilities in the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Austria. In Austria, Valamar operates through its branch Valamar Riviera d.d., Zweigniederlassung Austria, Gamsleitenstraße 6, 5563 Obertauern, FN 583355 a (Landesgericht Salzburg), VAT ID: ATU 78289647.

Additionally, Valamar is a management company that, based on contracts, manages the tourism part of the business of other tourism companies and offers accommodation services in the facilities of the following companies:

All the mentioned companies, including Valamar, are independent Accommodation Service Providers for the facilities they own, and the pre-contractual notices as well as commercial notices mentioned in these GTC are common to all Service Providers, and these GTC form an integral part of the Hospitality Services Contract with the Accommodation Service Providers.

When you book accommodation in a facility of a Service Provider other than Valamar, you enter into a hospitality services contract (hotel services, accommodation in tourist apartments, and camping services) with that Service Provider, not with Valamar.

Valamar, as the owner of the Platforms, and each Service Provider share contractual obligations towards the Customer/Guest/User, each in their part. Each Service Provider is responsible for providing each individual accommodation service offered in their facilities. The Customer will be informed at the time of booking who the Service Provider is. Valamar, as the owner of the Platform, is responsible for managing the Platform and does not charge the Customer any fee for the reservation itself.

All Service Providers are traders in the sense of the Consumer Protection Act.

The term Valamar's facilities includes accommodation facilities of Valamar Riviera d.d., in Croatia and Austria, as well as accommodation facilities of other companies it manages.


Note:

In the case of purchasing package arrangements, special General Terms and Conditions of the organizer and seller of package arrangements/pre-contractual obligations/contract apply. These GTC apply to the purchase of package arrangements in the part not otherwise specified by the mentioned General Terms and Conditions of package arrangements.

Users of Valamar's websites and mobile applications are obliged to adhere to the General Terms and Conditions of Valamar's Platforms.

These General Terms and Conditions of Hospitality Services Contracts apply to contracts for hospitality services that Customers conclude through the Platforms for their private purposes.

Valamar's facilities are:

  • Hotels and apartments (villas, apartments, suites, houses, rooms, chalets)
  • Pitches in campsites and camping spots (tent spots)
  • Mobile homes in campsites (villas, suites, camping homes, glamping tents, chalets)

Descriptions of each accommodation facility are displayed on Valamar's websites and mobile applications. Accommodation photos may be illustrative, and Valamar does not guarantee that the picture fully corresponds to the specific accommodation unit. Sometimes photos of the planned appearance of the accommodation unit will be shown. When displaying accommodation, you will be informed about the type of service that the facility offers.

Valamar reserves the right to withdraw any hospitality service or accommodation in any Valamar facility from sale at any time.

A reservation means booking accommodation in Valamar's facilities, with an obligation to pay, regardless of when it is agreed that payment will be made, or which offered price list the Customer chooses.

By confirming the reservation, the Customer enters into a Hospitality Services Contract (hotel services/accommodation in tourist apartments/camping services) as a distance service contract with the Service Provider who owns the facility. The Hospitality Services Contract consists of:

  • These GTC and
  • specific sales conditions (reservation details) indicated with information about certain accommodation services (e.g., room description, facility, type of service, reservation date, number of persons, etc.)

In case of overbooking or any other case of inability to use the reserved accommodation of a particular facility (e.g., if for any reason the facility does not open for guests), the Service Provider has the right to accommodate the guest in another available facility of the same or higher category without additional charge. In this case, the guest cannot claim compensation for damages solely due to this replacement.

Customers have the right to cancel the reservation in accordance with the terms of the price list they selected. Customers do not have the right to unilaterally cancel the concluded hospitality services contract concluded at a distance in accordance with Article 79 of the Consumer Protection Act, considering that the accommodation contracted is not intended for housing, and it is agreed that the service will be provided on a specific date or within a specific period.

For information on personal data processing, please refer to the Privacy Policies of Valamar and other service providers, all of which can be found at https://www.valamar.com/en/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policies also list contact email addresses for inquiries and complaints related to personal data.

All disputes between the contractual parties will be attempted to be resolved amicably, and we invite Customers to always first contact Valamar directly so that we can assist in resolving any difficulties as quickly as possible. In case of a dispute regarding the provision of services, please also contact the Service Providers.

Disputes related to the Platform and the conclusion of accommodation contracts on the Platform, as well as related to the accommodation service itself in facilities in the Republic of Croatia, are subject to Croatian law, and all disputes will be resolved before the competent court according to Valamar's headquarters. Disputes related to the accommodation service provided in the Republic of Austria will be resolved before the competent court according to the headquarters of the branch Valamar Riviera d.d., Zweigniederlassung Austria, applying Austrian law.

Disputes within the European Union related to online purchases in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes can be resolved through the European Online Dispute Resolution platform provided by the European Commission to enable access to quality dispute resolution and thus ensure safer and fairer online shopping. The European platform can be accessed at the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Valamar reserves the right to amend the GTC at any time without prior notice and is not responsible for any damage caused by these changes.

All changes to these GTCs will be published on the websites, and the date of entry into force will be published.

Any changes to these GTCs and provisions will only apply to new reservations registered after the publication of these changes on this website.

Valamar Riviera d.d.

Accommodation Booking

  • For each reservation made through Valamar online booking or Valamar reservation center, we guarantee the lowest price.
  • For stays without previously made reservations, the prices and conditions in accordance with the valid price list on the reception apply.
  • Sojourn tax is included in price.
  • Tourist tax is not included in the price of the Valamar Obertauern Hotel, [PLACES] Obertauern by Valamar and Kesselspitze Hotel, Valamar Collection. From May 1, 2025, the tourist tax will be €3,95 per person per night. Registration number according to the Overnight Accommodation Tax Act: 50422-023853-2023 ([PLACES] Obertauern by Valamar).

Bed & Breakfast deduction

If you wish to book a bed and breakfast service, please contact the Valamar Reservation Centre (e-mail:( reservations@valamar.com), or specify your request in the “Comments” section during the online booking process. You will then receive a confirmation about the requested service.

The daily reduction from the half-board rate for bed and breakfast per room is as follows:

  • 5 € in single rooms
  • 10 € in double and twin rooms
  • 15 € in triple rooms, quad rooms and studio apartments
  • 20 € in family rooms, suites and residence rooms

For the following properties, the deduction is applied per person per day:

  • 20 € - Isabella Island Miramare Suites & Villas, Isabella Island Castle
  • 40 € - Pical Suites

The bed and breakfast reduction from the half-board rate is not available at the following properties:

  • Rabac – Girandella Maro Suites & Villas, Girandella Family Hotel , Valamar Bellevue Resort, Rabac Sunny by Valamar
  • Rab – Arba Resort, Valamar Padova Hotel
  • Poreč – Isabella Island Hotel, Isabella Island Villas, Sunny Poreč by Valamar, Rubin Hotel
  • Krk – Sunny Baška Hotel by Valamar, Sunny Baška Residence by Valamar, Sunny Krk by Valamar, Villa Adria

Baby cot on request

  • Baby cot 5,- € per day
  • A baby cot is free of charge in all Valamar Collection properties

Apartments

Included in the apartment price are:

  • bed linen, electricity and water consumption, kitchenware and tableware, cleaning materials, weekly change of bed linen and final cleaning

Optional:

  • there are towels in the apartment
  • towels are changed as needed
  • possibility of half board

Pets are allowed in most hotels and resorts

The charge for pet accommodation is:

  • 38 € per day in hotels and resorts of the Valamar Collection brand
  • 30 € per day in hotels and resorts of the Valamar Hotels & Resorts and [PLACES] by Valamar brands
  • 25 € per day in hotels and resorts of the Sunny by Valamar brand
  • 25 € per day in the Lanterna and San Marino resorts and at the Arkada Hotel

When booking, the guest is required to provide information about the pet. Each pet must have a health certificate. The list of banned dog breeds and house rules are available here. By confirming the reservation, the guest automatically accepts full responsibility for the pet.

At check-in you will be asked to confirm your departure date. In the case of an earlier departure a fee in the amount of one-night stay per unit will be applied. In the period from 30 June until 01 September that fee includes all remaining days of your stay. The early departure fee might not be applied in case of illness or force majeure.

In the event of overbooking, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate guests in a property of the same or higher category.

If five or more accommodation units are booked, different payment/cancellation conditions apply.

In the event that the Customer makes one or more reservations that deviate from the expected needs for private purposes, or in the event of a violation of these general terms and conditions or the rules of the Valamar Rewards Programme, for example, including but not limited to:

  • if the Customer reserves 5 or more accommodation units;
  • if the Customer uses Valamar Rewards credits or vouchers that have already been used or are not entitled to use for any reason;

Valamar or the Service Providers reserve the right to refuse or cancel the reservation. In such cases, any contracts for hospitality services that may have been concluded, or sent reservation confirmations, are not binding on either party. Valamar undertakes to inform the Customer of such cases within a reasonable time, and no later than 21 days from the last reservation.

We reserve the right to change prices if, after the Reservation Agreement has been concluded, there is a change in the cumulative index of the monthly inflation rate of more than 110 compared to September 2025, calculated according to EUROSTAT. We can implement a price adjustment at the latest one month before the date of arrival, regarding which we will inform you by e-mail or in another suitable way. You are then required to inform us within eight (8) days whether you accept the new calculation of the price of the services or reject it; the latter will mean that the Reservation Agreement is considered terminated without any obligations for you. In the event of termination of the Agreement, we are limited to refunding a maximum of the amount of the advance payment received on the basis of the Reservation Agreement. Valid from 01/01/2026. For bookings in 2027, the clause regarding price changes will refer to a comparison with the cumulative index of the monthly inflation rate in March 2026.

Reservation guarantee

  • A bank card is required as a reservation guarantee.
  • Specific payment and cancellation conditions depend on the selected rate type. For full details, please see our Reservation Cancellation Conditions.

Bank transaction guarantee

If you do not have a bank card, you can guarantee your stay with a deposit equal to the amount of the first night’s stay. The deposit must be paid within 7 days upon receipt of the confirmation and the payment slip must include the booking confirmation number.

Card validation and data protection

You can use Valamar’s reservation guarantee page to securely provide your card details and confirm your booking. If you prefer, you can also use the same link to pre-pay your stay in full at any time.

When you click “Confirm Reservation”, your bank card will be temporarily preauthorised with €1.00 for validation and security purposes. This sum is automatically refunded by your bank within a few days.

Payment for the remaining balance is made upon arrival at reception by bank card or cash.

Payment upon arrival is possible:

  • by cash in euros (EUR), for amounts under €10,000.00;
  • by bank card, or by cash in another currency, based on the current exchange rate stated on your invoice.

Your bank card will be charged in euros (EUR). The charge will be processed in euros (EUR), and your bank or card issuer may convert this amount into the currency of your domestic account in accordance with its own exchange rate and fees at the time of processing. As a result, the amount appearing on your bank card statement may differ slightly from the amount stated in euros (EUR) on your hotel invoice.

Valamar Riviera d.d., Valamar Riviera d.d. Zweigniederlassung Austria, Imperial Riviera d.d., and HELIOS FAROS d.d. are not responsible for any differences arising from currency exchange or additional charges applied by your bank or card issuer.

All transactions and data transfers are carried out via a secure server. Your personal and payment data are protected and processed by Valamar Riviera d.d., Valamar Riviera d.d. Zweigniederlassung Austria, Imperial Riviera d.d. or HELIOS FAROS d.d. in accordance with applicable regulations and for the purpose of fulfilling the accommodation contract and legal obligations related to hospitality. Conditions for children

Children up to 2 years of age stay free of charge in all properties, but they must be included in the reservation. Special benefits for children over 2 years apply only if they are included in one accommodation unit, have their own bed, and meet the property's age criteria. Depending on the age and property, the child’s stay may be free or partially charged.

  • A bank card is required as a guarantee for the reservation.
  • Your bank card will be charged for the first night 30 days before arrival as a reservation guarantee. If the booking is cancelled within the free cancellation period, the charged amount will be refunded.
  • Free cancellation is possible up to 21 days before arrival, by 2 pm CET. A full refund will be issued.
  • For cancellation of the reservation after the cancellation period, we will retain the charged amount.
  • If the payment cannot be processed, you will be notified. If we are unable to charge your bank card, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation in line with our policy.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

EARLY BOOKING RATE 2025

  • A bank card is required as a guarantee for the reservation.
  • Your bank card can be pre-authorised 42 days before arrival for the amount of the first night stay.
  • Free cancellation is possible up to 21 days before arrival, by 2 pm CET. A full refund will be issued.
  • Within the cancellation period, we can charge your bank card for the amount of the first night stay per accommodation unit.
  • For cancellation of the reservation after the cancellation period, we will retain the charged amount.
  • If the payment cannot be processed, you will be notified. If we are unable to charge your bank card, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation in line with our policy.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

STANDARD RATE 2026 (also valid for Be the first! offer - Pical Resort)

  • A bank card is required as a guarantee for the reservation.
  • Your bank card will be charged for the first night 30 days before arrival as a reservation guarantee. If the booking is cancelled within the free cancellation period, the charged amount will be refunded.
  • Free cancellation with full refund is possible:
    - up to 2 days prior to arrival until 2 pm (CET) (Dubrovnik) -
    - up to 4 days prior to arrival until 2 pm (CET) (Valamar Hotels & Resorts, [PLACES] by Valamar, Sunny by Valamar) -
    - up to 7 days prior to arrival until 2 pm (CET) (Valamar Collection) -
  • For cancellation of the reservation after the cancellation period, we will retain the charged amount.
  • If the payment cannot be processed, you will be notified. If we are unable to charge your bank card, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation in line with our policy.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

STANDARD RATE 2025

  • A bank card is required as a guarantee for the reservation.
  • Your bank card may be pre-authorised 21 days prior to arrival in the amount of your first night stay.
  • Free cancellation with full refund is possible:
    - up to 2 days prior to arrival until 2 pm (CET) (Dubrovnik) -
    - up to 4 days prior to arrival until 2 pm (CET) (Valamar Hotels & Resorts, [PLACES] by Valamar, Sunny by Valamar) -
    - up to 7 days prior to arrival until 2 pm (CET) (Valamar Collection) -
  • Within the cancellation period, we may charge your bank card in the amount of your first night stay for each accommodation unit. For cancellation after the cancellation period, the amount charged to your card will not be refunded.
  • If the payment cannot be processed, you will be notified. If we are unable to charge your bank card, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation in line with our policy.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

ADVANCE PURCHASE RATE / NON-REFUNDABLE RATE 2025/2026

  • Upon receipt of the confirmation, the reservation cannot be changed or cancelled free of charge.
  • The entire amount of the reservation will be charged within 7 days after the reservation has been made.
  • In the event of cancellation, early departure or no-show, we will retain the debited amount.

BLACK FRIDAY 2025

  • A bank card is required as a guarantee for the reservation.
  • As a reservation guarantee, 30% of the total reservation amount will be charged to your bank card 30 days before arrival.
  • Free cancellation is possible up to 30 days before arrival, by 2 pm CET. A full refund will be issued.
  • For cancellation of the reservation after the cancellation period, we will retain the charged amount.
  • If the payment cannot be processed, you will be notified. If we are unable to charge your bank card, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation in line with our policy.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

FLEXI DEPOSIT RATE (valid only for Pical Beach House, Valamar Collection)

  • A bank card is required as a guarantee for the reservation.
  • Upon receipt of the reservation confirmation, 30% of the total reservation amount will be charged to your bank card.
  • The remaining 70% will be charged 60 days before arrival.
  • In the event of cancellation, early departure, or no-show, the 30% deposit will not be refunded. If the full amount has already been charged, no refund will be issued.
  • If the payment cannot be processed, you will be notified. If we are unable to charge your bank card, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation in line with our policy.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

  • Once the cancellation period has expired, 30 days prior to arrival (until 2 pm CET), an additional 60% of the total reservation amount will be charged to your bank card.
  • For cancellations made after the cancellation period, the non-refundable deposit and the charged amount will be retained.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, the full reservation amount will be charged.

ADVANCE PURCHASE RATE / NON-REFUNDABLE RATE 2025/2026

  • Upon receipt of the confirmation, the reservation cannot be changed or cancelled free of charge.
  • The entire amount of the reservation will be charged within 7 days after the reservation has been made.
  • In the event of cancellation, early departure or no-show, we will retain the debited amount.

BLACK FRIDAY 2025/2026

Best price guarantee

If you book your accommodation directly on the Valamar website or through our reservation centre, we guarantee the best online price.

If you find a more favourable online price – for the same property, the same dates, the same accommodation unit and the same service – than the one published on our website, following confirmation, we will offer you the more favourable price you found minus an additional 5% discount.

We will verify your request to make sure that it complies with our Terms and conditions. If your request is valid, we will grant you an additional 5% discount on the lower rate that you found.

Our reservation centre will verify your request and contact you within 72 hours.


Terms and conditions:

A competitive price can be booked online on another website under exactly the same price list conditions as the current conditions on the Valamar website. Such a competitive price must be bookable online and in real time.

The price must refer to the same hotel, same type of accommodation unit, same period of stay, same service and same number of guests. The guarantee does not apply to websites offering non-transparent prices and services (e.g. priceline.com, hotwire.com) or any of their affiliates or similar websites. The guarantee also does not apply to online reservations made through other websites that do not provide and confirm the name of the hotel/facility during the reservation process to the guest.

The guarantee does not apply to competitive prices that have restrictions in their reservation terms which significantly differ from the reservation restrictions on the Valamar website (cancellation policy, deposit limits, minimum stay, etc.).

The guarantee does not apply to any non-public or confidential prices, prices that require advance payments and prepaid vouchers, hotel rooms sold as a part of holiday packages with other services included, corporate discounted prices, group prices, coupon sales, etc.

The guarantee applies to the final price for the entire stay, including all service charges, taxes, or other fees.

The guarantee is applied to the total price for the entire stay rather than to the price for one or several days during the stay.

The guarantee will not apply if the prices differ by €5 or less per day.

House rules

By booking accommodation and staying at our facility, you undertake to obey these house rules and related provisions.

  1. All well-mannered and polite guests, who treat others with respect, are welcome to our facilities.
  2. Carefully use all devices and installations in the facility.
  3. Please keep your valuables, money, and documents in the in-room safe or at the reception desk. The hotel and apartment management is not liable for lost or stolen valuables not stored in the in-room safe.
  4. Visitors are allowed only if approved by the reception desk staff and if they have registered with their ID card.
  5. Do not bring flammable or explosive materials or substances with strong or unpleasant smells inside the facility.
  6. You may use all hotel amenities. However, if you damage or destroy anything, we will charge the expense to your bill.
  7. Local voltage is 220 V. We kindly ask you to adjust all your electrical appliances (razors, hair dryers, phone chargers) to that standard. The use of other own devices is not allowed without the approval of the reception desk staff. Please make sure to always unplug your devices and chargers form the electric socket if they are not under supervision to prevent the risk of fire.
  8. For the sake of other guests, please refrain from making excess noise in your room, especially when using the television or audio system.
  9. Children under 10 years of age may use the lifts only if accompanied by an adult.
  10. Only certain Valamar facilities allow pets. The guests staying with pets must accept and respect house rules for pets.
  11. For safety reasons and to save energy, please lock your balcony door and entry door whenever you leave your room.
  12. The adults accompanying minors are fully liable for any damage that might be incurred by the minors to any person or property within the facility. The parents or other escorting adults are responsible for the conduct of the minors they accompany and must ensure that they respect the peace and quiet on the premises.
  13. Check in is from 2 pm on. Check out is before 10 am and by then you must leave your room and return the contactless card or key to the reception desk staff. If there is a luggage storage room at the facility, you can store your luggage there until departure.
  14. Some restaurants have a dress code policy. For the comfort of all guests, please do not enter the restaurants in bathing suits, shorts, or torn or inappropriate clothing.
  15. Please bear in mind that, for health and safety reasons, children (depending on their age) are not allowed to use or have limited access to some amenities of wellness and fitness centres if these are available at the facility. You may read more about limitations in the house rules of the relevant centres or turn to the wellness or fitness centre staff.
  16. E-scooter drivers must use the cycle paths or tracks in the marked direction. Exceptionally, if there are no cycle paths or tracks, they may use the pedestrian zones and sidewalks, but are not allowed to exceed the walking speed.
  17. It is forbidden to use drones within the facility without prior approval from the facility management.
  18. It is forbidden to display symbols that promote racist ideologies and/or totalitarian regimes or behave in a way to disturb other guests and/or the staff. We reserve the right to cancel accommodation services to anyone who disrespects this rule.
  19. We reserve the right to cancel and/or deny our services to any guest who violates positive regulations and house rules, and/or behaves in an inappropriate or a disruptive manner.
  20. Valamar Riviera d.d. disclaims responsibility for any damage to or theft of vehicles in the parking area, as well as for the loss, theft, or damage of items inside the vehicle. The company also assumes no responsibility for any harm suffered by the parking user or third parties.

Pitches and camping spaces

The prices and conditions listed here apply only to stays booked in advance. For unreserved stays, the prices and terms are as stated in the valid pricelist available at the campsite reception.

The price for each unit includes:

  • One caravan or one tent, one car or one motorcycle, and one child’s tent (maximum length 1.5 m) placed on the same pitch or directly next to the caravan/tent or
  • One motorhome and one child’s tent (maximum length 1.5 m) placed on the same pitch or directly next to the motorhome
  • VAT is included in the price. Residence tax is not included in the price and is payable at the campsite reception.

Guests with a disability rating of 70% or higher are exempt from the residence tax, upon presentation of a valid ID showing the disability percentage.


PITCH NUMBER BOOKING

Pitches are booked by pitch type only (Luxury, Luxury Mare, Premium Mare, Comfort Mare, Comfort, or Standard). A specific pitch number is not assigned unless requested and confirmed separately.

You can reserve a specific pitch number for a stay of minimum 7 days.

To confirm a specific pitch number, a non-refundable fee is required, depending on the pitch type:

  • Standard € 100
  • Comfort, Comfort Mare, Marina Comfort € 150
  • Premium in Camping Škrila and Camping Brioni: € 150
  • Premium in 3*/4*/5* camping resorts € 200
  • Luxury in 3*/4* camping resorts € 200
  • Luxury in 5* camping resorts € 300

In the case of an earlier departure a fee in the amount of one-night stay per unit will be applied. In the period from 30 June until 01 September that fee includes all remaining days of your stay.

Pitch number bookings can be made exclusively through the Valamar Reservation Center via email at reservations@valamar.com or by phone at +385 52 465 000.

When booking, please specify the type of pitch you need and the exact dates for which you wish to book it. Once your requested pitch number is confirmed, it is guaranteed for the exact dates you have specified.


PITCH BOOKING CONDITIONS

Please note the following conditions:

  • For bookings with a specific pitch number, changes are not possible.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
  • If you cancel a standard booking, the deposit (€ 100) is non-refundable.
  • If you cancel a booking with a specific pitch number, the fee for the pitch number (instead of the deposit) is non-refundable.
  • Between 11 July and 5 September 2026, certain pitch types can only be booked Saturday to Saturday. This rule may vary depending on the campsite, and booking conditions for the following season are subject to change.

Advance payment and cancellation - 2026

A bank card is required as a guarantee for the reservation.

DEPOSIT

  • A deposit of € 100 is required for all pitch bookings and will be charged to your bank card within 7 days of making the reservation. If the price of the booked stay is under € 100, it is necessary to make a deposit in the amount of the price of the booked stay.
  • If a specific pitch number is reserved, a pitch number reservation fee is charged instead of the deposit, ranging from € 100 to € 300 depending on the pitch category.
  • The deposit or pitch number fee is non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date.

ADVANCE PAYMENT

  • Your bank card will be charged for 30% of the total reservation amount 7 days before your arrival. If the booking is cancelled within the cancellation period (up to 7 days before your arrival), the charged amount will be refunded.
  • The remaining balance is paid at the campsite reception upon arrival.

CANCELLATION

  • In case of cancellation within 7 days of arrival, we will retain either the deposit (€ 100) or the pitch number fee (depending on the type of pitch), as well as 30% of the total reservation amount.
  • If the payment cannot be processed, you will be notified. If we are unable to charge your bank card, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation in line with our policy.
  • In case of early departure or no-show without prior cancellation, your bank card will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
  • For existing pre-bookings or reservations for the following year, the advance payment can also be made at the campsite reception.

MINIMUM STAY

  • The minimum stay per pitch is 1 night.
  • During high season, the minimum stay is 3 nights.
  • Please note that certain pitch types, during the period from 11 July and 5 September 2026, can only be booked from Saturday to Saturday. This rule may vary depending on the campsite, and booking conditions for the following season are subject to change.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

  • Pitches are available from 1 pm on the day of arrival.
  • On the day of departure, the pitch must be vacated by 12 pm.
  • We will hold your reserved pitch until 7 pm on your arrival day. After that time, we reserve the right to resell the pitch to other guests.
  • If you expect to arrive later than 7 pm, please contact us in advance.
  • In that case, your pitch will be held until your arrival, and you will be charged the pitch rate for each day of delay, in addition to the cost of your stay.

Camping homes and glamping

  • Residence tax is not included in the price and is payable at the campsite reception.
  • Guests with a disability rating of 70% or higher are exempt from the residence tax, upon presentation of a valid ID showing the disability percentage.
  • For bookings of five or more accommodation units, special payment and cancellation conditions apply.
  • Secure parking for one vehicle is included. At Valamar Camping Marina, parking is provided exclusively for cars.

Cleaning fee

The daily rate for camping homes includes:

  • accommodation for the number of persons stated in the unit description
  • gas, water, and electricity costs
  • one parking space
  • use of other campsite services

For all camping home and glamping tent rentals, a one-time cleaning fee of € 37 applies. This fee includes final cleaning and a starter set of clean bed linen:

  • two sheets and two pillowcase for each double bed
  • two sheets and one pillowcase for each single bed
  • two towels per person, based on the number of registered guests

The fee for bedding and final cleaning in the case when a pet is staying in the camping home is€ 53.
For 2027, the additional one-off final cleaning fee amounts to€ 40, or € 57 if you are bringing a pet.


Pets

A maximum of two pets can stay with you in a single camping home. Pet stays are charged according to the valid prices as indicated in the camping price list.

In camping homes, dogs are allowed in all units, except in the Bella Vista Chalet for 2.
Valamar Camping Baška Dogs are allowed on all pitches.

By booking accommodation and staying at our campsite, you undertake to obey these house rules and related provisions. The guest is responsible for taking care of their belongings brought into the campsite. The Company is not liable for any damage resulting from the guest’s own actions.

We reserve the right to change prices if, after the Reservation Agreement has been concluded, there is a change in the cumulative index of the monthly inflation rate of more than 110 compared to September 2025, calculated according to EUROSTAT. We can implement a price adjustment at the latest one month before the date of arrival, regarding which we will inform you by e-mail or in another suitable way. You are then required to inform us within eight (8) days whether you accept the new calculation of the price of the services or reject it; the latter will mean that the Reservation Agreement is considered terminated without any obligations for you. In the event of termination of the Agreement, we are limited to refunding a maximum of the amount of the advance payment received on the basis of the Reservation Agreement. Valid from 01/01/2026. For bookings in 2027, the clause regarding price changes will refer to a comparison with the cumulative index of the monthly inflation rate in March 2026.
