Feel Tar-Vabriga

The Feel Tar-Vabriga festival returns for another vibrant summer on the Istrian coast, offering a dynamic programme of cultural, musical, and culinary events from June to September.

Throughout the season, the towns of Tar and Vabriga come alive with open-air performances, local traditions, and flavours that bring guests closer to the heart of Istrian life. From lively village squares to serene coastal settings, every event offers something memorable for families, food lovers, and festivalgoers alike.

Feel Tar-Vabriga offers something for everyone:

• Festival of Street Magicians (12–13 June) – let yourself be swept into a world of wonder as the streets of Tar come alive with stilt walkers, clowns, and magical performers in this unforgettable two-day street spectacle
• Sv. Marija Karmelska & Tar Day (16 July) – celebrate the heart and soul of Tar with a touching church ceremony, candlelit procession and various concerts under the stars
• Fešta od Sardoni (25 July) – join the locals in Vabriga for a feast of the sea, where traditional sardine salting meets live music and timeless Istrian hospitality
• Fešta od Angurije (1 August) – one of Istria’s most charming village celebrations, this joyful evening in Rošini is all about watermelon, music, and warm summer fun for the whole family
• Fešta od Pedoći (8 August) – taste the sea at Santa Marina Bay with fresh mussels, local wine, and live music – all set against a magical coastal sunset
• Večer Klapa (15 August) – experience the soul of the Adriatic through an emotional night of klapa singing beneath the stars, in the timeless setting of Tar’s historic castle
• Turistička Fešta (4–5 September) – end summer with a bang at Tar’s most iconic festival, featuring donkey races, local crafts, amazing food, and top musical acts across two unforgettable nights
