The largest Christmas Advent in Istria will once again bring a true festive magic to Poreč this winter, featuring a rich entertainment, cultural, music, and gastronomic programme for the whole family. The Advent will run from 6 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, offering visitors plenty of surprises and activities that will fill the town squares with joy and good spirits.

The celebration begins with the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas lights, marking the start of the period when the city shines in its full holiday splendour. The programme includes concerts by popular performers such as Maja Šuput, Neno Belan, Gustafi, Alen Vitasović, Željko Bebek, and Klapa Intrade, along with performances by local bands and DJs who will create a cheerful atmosphere every day. A special highlight will be the New Year’s Eve celebration, with Tony Cetinski performing on Trg Slobode, while MIACH will entertain the audience on Trg Matije Gupca.

In addition to the music programme, visitors can enjoy pub quizzes, comedy evenings with famous comedians such as Tin & Zuhra, Luka Bulić, and Vlatko Štampar, as well as a variety of traditional and fun events — live nativity scenes, an Istrian soup competition, Sweet Morning, Advent run, Family Day, and the arrival of Santa Claus with themed photo opportunities. Special attention is given to the youngest visitors. Throughout the Advent season, children can look forward to a rich programme featuring six theatre performances, a treasure hunt, creative workshops, daily animations, dance shows, and an exciting fire show.

One of the most beloved attractions will once again be the free ice skating rink, offering winter fun for all generations.
