Summer in Poreč

Summer in Poreč 2025 turns the city into a vibrant open-air stage that comes alive with music, film, street art, and diverse cultural happenings. From June through September, the programme caters to all ages and interests.

 

A standout this year is Italian jazz and soul star Mario Biondi, set to perform on Freedom Square on August 8. Music fans can also look forward to tribute nights honouring legends like Elvis Presley, ABBA, Lady Gaga, and Zucchero. The Klapa ‘Sveti Juraj’ of the Croatian Navy adds a patriotic note to the lineup. Other highlights include the long-running ‘Jazz in the Lapidarium’ series (now in its 30th year) and the beloved ‘Concerts in the Euphrasian Basilica,’ going strong for 64 years. Local bands bring their sound to the streets with ‘Music on the Square.’

 

New features this year include ‘Mystic Forest’ in Olga Ban Park – ten nights of aerial silk shows, ambient tunes, and luminous art under the stars. The ‘POCO – Poreč Cocktail Festival’ mixes up the coast with DJ sets and cocktail tastings on July 11 and 12. Families can enjoy ‘Gelato Park’ in late June, a playful ice cream festival with workshops for kids. Wine lovers will appreciate ‘Wines of Poreč,’ a mellow opportunity to taste local vintages.

 

Outdoor cinema returns with ‘Poreč Sunset Cinema,’ offering films under the stars with live DJ music. Meanwhile, the ‘La mula de Parenzo’ walks bring stories and legends of the old town to life. In August, ‘Street Art Poreč’ transforms the city with colourful murals, live painting, and acrobatic performances.

 

The season wraps up on September 27 with World Tourism Day, featuring free city tours and special ‘La mula de Parenzo’ performances.
