- Four themed relaxation zones: Experience four immersive spaces that celebrate Istria’s natural beauty and spirit, from the soothing Aqua Sensory Room with its floating waterbeds to the fragrant Herbal Lounge, the cave-like Quiet Room and the community Relax Zone inspired by Istrian forests, vineyards and town squares
- Daily Aufguss ceremonies by master practitioners: Certified AISA sauna masters lead daily Aufguss ceremonies, using invigorating citrus blends in the morning and calming lavender in the evening. With monthly theme changes and biannual guest masters, each ritual is a restorative experience guided by Istrian tradition
- Family wellness time, daily noon – 1 pm: ESPA at Pical is primarily a serene thermal experience for adults and guests aged 16+. During this dedicated time, younger guests may enjoy selected wellness experiences thoughtfully adapted for children, teens and families

Set apart from the main ESPA spa and located by the Beach Club, the Garden Spa offers a serene haven where nature takes the lead. Shaped by the energy of the Istrian sky and the rhythm of the Adriatic, it places sun and sea at the centre of its wellness philosophy.

ESPA’s Signature Rituals are formed by the scents, sounds and soul of the Parenzana trail. From warm herbal compresses and sea mineral envelopments, to four-hand oil massages and skin refreshing facials, each treatment draws deeply from local ingredients and healing traditions.
Intuitive treatments for visible results
From sensory massages and personalised facials, every treatment is tailored to your body and skin. Therapists adjust pressure, technique and products using ESPA actives and local botanicals guided by professional skin analysis for visible results and nervous system balance.
A scalp-to-soul reset
Our advanced Head Spa draws on the time-honoured rituals of Japanese head care, blending deep cleansing, nutrient-rich treatments, steam therapy and massage into a single transformative experience. This full-body reset also gives attention to the neck, shoulders and face.
Rituals between the rituals
From your first sip of herbal tea to the final farewell compress, every moment at ESPA is intentionally designed. Enjoy fig yoghurt and aromatic infusions post-treatment and leave with a lasting memory and end with a small seasonal gift.
In-treatment room
Each treatment begins with refreshing hand towels, an ESPA sensory test to guide your personalised journey and a sole cleanse with lemon-infused hot mittens to ground your experience. Guests leave with a thoughtful takeaway gift and a tailored recommendation guidance.
