Water sports festival for all ages

This year's edition of Croatia's most beloved swimming marathon brings new exciting activities that will delight all water sports enthusiasts. Poreč Dolphin 2026, organized by the Sports Community of the City of Poreč, will take place from August 29 to 30 at Valamar Parentino beach, with a rich program for all ages.

Poreč Dolphin continues its long-standing tradition, and the 25^th edition brings numerous novelties and diverse content. The traditional recreational swimming marathon offers participants different distances: 1500, 3000, and 5000 meters, as well as a shorter 500-meter distance for the youngest and those who are not experienced swimmers. What makes this marathon special is the possibility of swimming in any style and using various aids: fins, masks, swimming boards, air mattresses, and more.

Besides swimming, which remains the festival's focus, the programme includes exciting competitions and activities such as a SUP regatta, a U14 water polo tournament, an aquathlon, as well as various demonstrations and free workshops.
