How to get to Makarska

The journey from Zagreb covers approximately 450 kilometres and takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
  • Adriatic Coastal Road: For a more scenic route, exit the A1 at Šestanovac and take the D60 and D76 roads through the Biokovo Nature Park. This detour offers stunning mountain landscapes.
